Great cabin with panoramic views of Vaset and areas around. Unfortunately, we had the most "weather" during our stay, but we had a great time in the cabin. The hosts were very nice and helpful and responded quickly. Would definitely recommend both the cabin and the area!

The hut is beautiful and offers the perfect compromise from original hut holidays in a modern ambience. The hut could only be heated with wood and was therefore incredibly cozy. Janne was very quick to respond to requests and was super helpful if there were any problems. The views from the cabin are an absolute dream. We could even catch a view of the northern lights. The trails were good and you can drive pretty much exactly in front of the cabin and go larger tours. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again and again.

Great cabin in a fantastic area. Everything was as expected or better. The cabin was very nicely decorated and well equipped and impeccably clean. Communication with the host was very easy and warm. Perfect for a family stay in winter. We highly recommend the cabin.

We had a wonderful time during our stay end of December. The house was cosy and we felt at home from the beginning. The location was nice with possibilities for skiing and hiking around. Also the facilities in the house were great, especially the fireplace.

The cottage is very secluded but in a beautiful spot overlooking the forest and lake. It is a very beautifully designed house, with loving and cozy furnishings. We felt very comfortable. In addition, we were able to use the canoe on the lake. The path to the lake through the forest was very nice now in autumn.

New cabin - lovely location - 4 bedrooms and sauna

Unfortunately, my language skills are not sufficient even in my mother tongue to describe the subtleties of the beaming children's faces at the sight of the hut with this view - the perfect balance between comfort and longing for wilderness, like overnight stays at the end of a beautiful hike, only with all the conveniences. To be honest, I didn't think there would be such opportunities these days. When you leave this hut, you leave a piece of yourself behind. Many personal thanks to Maria and Fredrik, who responded very quickly to questions.

We spent 2 nights in the cabin and can really recommend it. Amazing views and lovely cabin. There's a really nice porch. It was good to have access to the lake and to use the boat. Also nice walks in the area, as we were recommended by Ingrid. Thanks for a great stay.

We spent a great time here. The facilities are as advertised, hosts helpful and easy to reach. The hut is located in a compound that we had all to ourselves. Beitostølen is easy to reach, even with public transport. Recommend for those looking for a place to relax while being close to the great outdoors.

The Olav-house from 1840, at farm Ellingbø

Eli’s place was magical. It sat on a hill overlooking a beautiful lake with a magnificent mountain in the background. It felt like staying in a part of her family’s history. The original home was built in 1840 but her and her family completely renovated the cabin while still keeping the integrity of the space. It was extremely cozy, clean, and charming. Eli was a perfect host - she was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home! She had great recommendations for a local farm, as well as nearby alpine ski places. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer but we definitely plan on coming back!! Thank you so much, Eli!

I feel like I have received a little more than welcome hospitality. Was very tired after a long trip but left off right away and there was a teapot with different tea bags on the table. Definitely recommend this cozy place.

Uppågarden Vang - Old restored log house

Wonderful place to stay. Nice and cosy farmhouse from 19th century, I guess, but renovated with a lot of love. Modern clean and warm bath. There´s even with a old painted door. Everything is beautifully arranged. Parking right in front of the door. Toril lives next door and is a very helpful host. Beautifully located between the lake and the montains, very scenic view. I was there in Winter with two colleagues for ski-touring, but I will return with the family.
