When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Tubisi - 2-BR chalet with sauna and hot tub

Built in 2017, this private 60 m2 winter-proof wooden house has 1 bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with an open kitchen. There is also an electric sauna and terrace that opens up to a meadow that is being naturally rewilded into a forest. Lots of natural light, AC, heated floors, a fully equipped kitchen, sauna and 4G wi-fi will provide a comfortable and relaxing stay in all seasons. There is a 22kW EV charger at your disposal, powered by 100% renewable electricity.

Treehouse Lake Cone

Treehouse Čiekurs(cone) is located 3 km from city Cēsis,90 km from capital Riga and located in Gauja National Park,surrounded by the pine forest.A great place to enjoy nature at its city noise,no rush,just peace.The nearest shop ~3 km. Houses with an air conditioner(heating and cooling). WC located in the separate house on the ground.You can take sauna or hot tub (available for extra payment) and take a swim in the lake. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

If you want to you will have chance to experience traditional sauna (additional + 60 EUR, there is also outside hot tub available + 60 EUR and take a fresh swim in a clear pond next to bathhouse. Surrounding has view of a larger lake and if you like even take a boat ride or do fishing. Host house is 80 meters away, so you will be able to have your privacy. Experience Latvia!
