The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Here you use purely the energy of the sun, without having to renounce luxury.

The apartment can accommodate up to 6 people, consists of an open space with a terrace overlooking the waterfront, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, is located on the second floor and has a separate entrance. Built about a century ago as an annex of the nearby "castle" and for this reason called "Casa al mare" (House by the sea). The renovation and furnishing were completed in August 2021 and focused on pleasantness, comfort, ease of use, energy saving and environmental sustainability

The two-room apartment is born from the subdivision of a large apartment located on the first floor of a complex of terratetti in Rio Marina, 1 km from the port of the village. The entrance is independent of the twin apartment. Inside a large double bedroom, with the possibility of accommodating up to a maximum of 3 people by adding an extra bed (upon notice at the time of booking); a bathroom and a living/kitchen area equipped with a living terrace.

Casa Anto, completely renovated in 2025, consists of a living room with a full kitchen and sofa bed, two bedrooms with double beds and two bathrooms, one of which is reserved for a bedroom. The house is accessed by an external staircase. The outdoor pergola is furnished with a table and chairs/deckchairs The beach, about 250 metres away, can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The house has a private garden, with lawn, of about 200 square metres.

The Tower Above the Sea

La Torre is one of two ancient watchtowers in the beautiful village of Marciana Marina. The tower was already marked as Torre di Poggio on maps of the 16th century and converted into a customs office for the merchandise of lake in the 18th century. In 2023, the tower was remodeled by an interior designer. The result is a synergy of ancient remains and modern comforts. The unique location just above the water makes every stay an experience.

The accommodation is located inside an early 20th century villa, in a green and quiet area (Porticciolo) about 2 km from the municipality of Rio Marina. It has a private bathroom, kitchen and two double bedrooms (one of which is a double), for a maximum of four people. As the property is not fully fenced on all sides, for safety reasons we prefer not to accommodate pets.
