Enjoy birdsong among the oak trees on the property, and feel your heart rate slow down, whether you are young or old. Here you can experience the Knausen cabin, which was built in 1940 and has retained most of its original character. Here, the beds are built into the rooms, there is no Wi-Fi, and dishes must be washed by hand. However, the location can bring peace of mind with beautiful lake views of Ålfjorden, a large property with a lot of natural land, access to the beach, fishing and a short distance to Ølen, Etne, Odda/Trolltunga, Haugesund and Karmøy.

Stølshaugen

The cabin is idyllically located with panoramic views of the beautiful village of Førde, the fjord and even much further. Although the cabin is located on top of a hill, it is located on a farm, where sheep and lambs graze nearby. The cabin has a distinctive character, is more than 100 years old and has, among other things, a large, carved Viking ship model hanging from the ceiling. The entire cabin was restored a few years ago and then got modern equipment such as a new bathroom with heating cables and a new kitchen with all the necessary equipment.

Family-friendly cabin in idyllic Sveinavik. Here you can lower your shoulders and enjoy beautiful views of the fjord. Cozy outdoor areas with a pizza oven, a fireplace and a barbecue. Two bedrooms with a double bed, and one bedroom with a bunk bed with a 120 cm lower bed. From the cabin it is only a short walk to the playground, beach and sea life. Great hiking trails nearby. Parking just outside the cabin. The annex with an extra bedroom and bathroom is normally locked, but can be rented on request, and then there is room for 8 guests.

Here you live close to nature, while it is a short distance to activities, workplaces and Haugesund. - 1 hour to Haugesund and Sauda (ski resort) - 15 min to ski slopes & hiking areas (Fjellstøl/Olalia) - 20 min to Ølen (activity park & shopping malls) - 5 min to Vikedal motorway - Walking distance to Skomakernibba & Lysenuten The accommodation is suitable for holidays, weekend trips and work stays.

Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with the possibility of several activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater locks are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach at Notaflåt is centrally located and provides bathing opportunities on a nice summer day. Straumen school is also nearby. Here the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand, you will find the well-known Himakånå. "Straumen er Draumen"

The place is an old small farm. It is located in a very quiet area with good opportunities for hiking and fishing. Otertong outdoor area is right nearby. Between Stavanger and Bergen/Hardanger. 30 minutes to Haugesund, 1 hour 50 minutes to Odda (Hardanger and Trolltunga). Rented out for the first time in 2026.
