Urke is a lively little village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post office and pharmacy, garden center and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. Sunnmørsalpane surrounds the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which has become very popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the URA. In the last couple of years, Urkeegga has also become a popular tourist destination. The mountains here are as popular for skiers in winter as for mountain trips in summer.

Utigard is very centrally located, within a radius of 1h you can experience Stryn (climbing park, etc.), Briksdalsbreen glacier, Loen (Loen skylift, Lekeland, etc.), Nordfjordeid (Viking center, etc.), Volda. It is 10 min to the nearest grocery store located in Hornindal.

The cabin is simple and has four beds, in addition to a living room and kitchen in one with simple standard.
