Escape reality in this thoughtfully converted Woodland retreat, in the renowned and secluded 40 acre Pendarves bluebell woods. Near the historic mining town of Camborne, we are a short 20 minute walk from the mainline train station (6 by taxi). A plentiful supply of local attractions, reached most easily by those with their own vehicle. St Ives (13 miles), Falmouth (15 miles), Penzance (20 miles). Sadly we do not allow pets and due to the nature of the site, it is not wheelchair friendly.

My sunny home is a short walk down a private road to Polzeath Beach, surf schools and a number of lovely shops & restaurants . You’ll love my place because of the seaviews and open farmland to the rear. There are fantastic walks all around. This property is suited to couples, groups of friends and families. A simple, "wild" campsite for those wishing to get away from the trappings of modern day living, whilst situated in an amazingly central Cornish location. Our facilities include composting toilets, hot showers, large communal fire pits with seating (in the meadow and woods) and free fire wood which you can collect with the wheelbarrow from our dedicated wood piles. We have an ancient woodland with trails to explore and search for deer tracks along the river which forms our border!

The Barn

The Barn is a perfect escape for a couple. A spacious open-plan barn with kitchen and living room, flagstone floor and underfloor air-source heating and an overhead sleeping platform. Stylish self-contained shower room. Large library of books and collection of board games and extensive gardens and grounds. The Surf Shack The Surf Shack is set in the heart of a quiet suburb of Newquay, only 250 meters from Tolcarne beach and less than 10 minutes from Great Western Beach. This Pixie hut is the perfect romantic hideaway. There is a living area with a central wood burning fire pit and a double bedroom in the main lodge and a separate (not shared), private pod which has a luxury shower-room and a well-equipped kitchen with a gas cooker, fridge and microwave.
