Situated in the lovely village of Portinscale this warm detached family home provides everything you might want to enjoy a stay in the Lake District. We are situated 5 minutes walk from Derwent Water and the Nicol End Marina for kayaking and water activities. Portinscale has a pub that serves food and a cafe. Our favourite eating places nearby are Swinside Inn and the Ivy Restaurant in Braithwaite. Keswick is a mere 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk for eating out, shopping and outdoor sports.

This traditional workers cottage in Eskdale green gives you a wonderfully cosy retreat and an ideal base for exploring. The cottage is a traditional '2 up 2 down' that has been modernised sympathetically for a cosy break away. Bedding and towels provided. Heat is provided by storage heaters and the front room has a log burning stove for a super cosy stay. There is a selection of books, maps, DVD's & children's toys. There is a smart tv and new unlimited WIFI for streaming you favourite films.

Three Springs, is an idyllic Lakeland cottage, well equipped and positioned in a superb, elevated position, overlooking Coniston Water and Grizedale Forest. With a picturesque garden, set on different levels, there are breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding fells. Being only five minutes walk from the village centre, it is very convenient for all local amenities. Easy access to fells without the need for a car. Sleeps four (+1). We allow up to 2 dogs; £20 per stay per pet.

A 2 bedroom holiday cottage located on a working farm near Boot in the Lake District. Gorgeous views over Harter Fell and less than a 10 minute walk to a pub! The cottage is set on the shores of Wastwater and so offers stunning views of the lake and the surrounding hills. It is the perfect starting point for numerous Wainwright walks. Scafell Pike, Yewbarrow and Illgill Head can all be started from the doorstep. Very easy access to the lake for paddleboarding, kayaking and wild swimming.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
