Chalet holiday rentals in Washoe County

We stayed in the chalet with our 7-year-old and found it to be an ideal getaway. The home was cozy, functional, and filled with natural light from its many windows. We especially appreciated its child-friendly atmosphere and games and convenient location—just two blocks from the shuttle to Diamond Peak Ski Resort. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful Lake Tahoe chalet. The house was roomy, immaculate, very well furnished and decorated, with spectacular Lake Tahoe views. It is in a convenient location to Incline Village, and a very reasonable drive to the north shore on the California side of the lake, and South Lake Tahoe / state line on the south shore. Kitchen has state of the art appliances, huge modern fridge, and an excellent supply of cookware and utensils. Bedrooms and baths are first rate. Great room is spacious but cozy. I would absolutely stay here again.

When I see a spot available for my dates with that diamond symbol next to it for “rare” to find it available, I don’t usually pay attention. With Kirk and Robin’s place we actually found a gem. For skiing Diamond Peak it is perfect. Mt. Rose sledding hill was also close by and still has snow late in spring. Easy drive to Kings Beach too. I didn’t know about the Tyrolian Village neighborhood at Incline before this stay but it is absolutely charming and was so quiet!

I had a fantastic stay at Barbara's beautiful home! Everything was easy from booking to check-in/check out. Barbara was very responsive to every question I had and made everything easy and stress-free. The space was incredibly clean and comfortable and the back yard is stunning. This is a perfect place to center your visit to Lake Tahoe---incredible restaurants, beautiful beaches and walking trails are just minutes away. Highly recommend staying with Barbara!

If you looking for a peaceful place to stay. This place is for you and The host Jeff was very friendly and responsive.

This house looks good in pictures but even better in person. It's huge with windows everywhere. Lots of space for families to be together or ... not! Good outdoor spaces for snow time or sun time. Overall, warm and cozy with Bob, the consummate host. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Devin’s cabin was the perfect spot for our long weekend with family and dogs. The outdoor space was a highlight—it gave us plenty of room to spread out and let the dogs run around freely. We were lucky enough to get snow during our stay, which made for such a fun experience. We built snowmen and even got some sledding in with our toddler out back! After the kids went to bed, we cozied up by the fireplace with a glass of wine—pure relaxation. The house was more than spacious enough for our group of 5 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. The beds were super comfortable—we all slept really well. A special shoutout to the upstairs spa steam shower (so good after a day in the snow!) and the heated floors in both bathrooms—such a luxurious touch. The location is great too—just a 4-minute drive to the grocery store, cute shops, and restaurants. And you’re also close to some beautiful beaches, which makes this spot feel like the best of both worlds. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!

This home was incredible and truly provided the mountain/lake getaway we were looking for. The views from the deck and living room were unbelievable. Our host, Kim, was such a pleasure to communicate with. She was extremely helpful and responsive. I look forward to future stays and highly recommended this property for those who are looking for an amazing view and extremely comfortable mountain/lake home.

Great comfy home in a beautiful neighborhood. Quick easy drive to the lake and Incline Village. We went in the winter and the snowy landscape, sound of the creek next to the hot tub and cozy fireplace were just what we needed for a quiet relaxing getaway.

We had a great time at Christine's cabin! We were there for skiing at Diamond Peak (just up the road) and got very lucky with snow coming down just before and during our stay. Kids were even able to sled right in front of the cabin! The place is very clean and has everything you need. We didn't need to contact Christine during the stay, but she was always responsive so I assume if we had, she'd have gotten right back to us. Highlights of the cabin were definitely the location, the 3 floors with bdrm and bathroom on each (separate, private spaces for everyone...we were a family of 9), and overall cleanliness. The bedding, carpeting and furniture were overall as clean as any airbnb I've stayed in. We had a great stay and will definitely look to return!

We loved staying at this house. It was very large and we were comfortable. Loved the location as it is 15 min from Mt Rose for skiing. June is a great host and responded quickly to us. We would definitely stay there again!
