1850's cottage annexe nr historic Wedmore (King Alfred signed the treaty with the Vikings here) overlooking the Somerset Levels & close to Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells, Weston-Super-Mare & the beautiful cities of Bath & Bristol. Perfect location for bird watching (see the starling murmurations Nov-Feb) nature walks & the famous traditional Wilkins Cider Farm is an easy stroll.The cottage has amazing views with patio area & wildlife pond. Good for couples, solo adventurers or for remote working.

A quiet luxury getaway

The Cider House is a converted barn tucked away in the village of Pilton, Somerset. It is a large airy and light space. It has a private courtyard and garden, 24 hour under floor heating and hot water. There is a top quality superking bed, excellent for having sleeps in, with hand pressed sheets. To augment heat there's a wood burning stove. We supply and lay a first fire for you with enough logs to get it going after which you can purchase a sack of seasoned logs from us for £10.00 a bag.

Hello! We are Rob and Kate and we have poured our heart and soul into our guest house. Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Shared driveway next to main house. Not suitable for children or pets.
