Welcome to the "Waldhaus an der Wiese" in Uelsen. Our 2024/25 extensively and energetically renovated bungalow is located on a 1000 m² sunny clearing in the forest and holiday area of Uelsen, surrounded by birches, pines and oaks. Behind the house you have a wonderful view over meadows and pastures. Especially in the morning, when the sun rises over the meadow and you sit with a coffee in the conservatory – an unforgettable moment! Here you can enjoy heavenly peace in a natural environment.

Relax in the private sauna or take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool (seasonally open daily in blocks of 2–3 hours by appointment). The pool will be closed from September 5, 2025. The rural area around, adjoining the beautiful spa town (Kurstadt) Bad Bentheim with its wonderful castle, invites you discover its many treasures on bike and hiking tours on many different routes. Still, it is easy to reach many nice destinations in the neighbouring country of Holland as well as in the Westfalian area around Münster with its countless castles and its beautiful landscape.

Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Het Goede Gemoed; "Afterwards and yet close". Good cozy restaurants are plentiful and also grabbing a movie is done in no time.

The Bakery, cozy overnight stay and rest

Our apartment is in the center of Deurningen. It is part of a building with several apartments. This building used to be a Bakery with shop and house after which it is now named. The apartment is new and fully furnished in a sustainable way and equipped with every comfort. The apartment is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor. The living space is 65 m2. On the third floor, there is a loggia where you can sit outside and enjoy the evening sun. Breakfast is available upon request.

Welcome to happiness. Our new, beautiful holiday apartment (90 sqm) for max. 6 people is located directly on the edge of the forest, very quietly located in the attic of a residential building in the best residential area of Bad Bentheim. There is a large balcony, partially covered, and in winter a side view of the castle. The hosts live on the other side of the forest and are on site if needed. The bathroom has a rain shower. There are also a total of three televisions.

The guest accommodation is part of the main house but is rented out separately. It is suitable for one or two adults. You'll have a private entrance in a separate, enclosed area.
