Welcome to Willow Lodge, our stunning self-contained oak framed Studio apartment that offers the perfect countryside escape for walkers, cyclists, or a relaxing break away for couples or small families. With a spacious, open living area in which to relax and unwind, it’s the ideal location to explore Wells and Somerset. Situated in the garden of our home, overlooking a beautiful mature willow, guests will find parking beside the garage leading to a private doorway with stairs up to the Studio.

Wren's Nest, studio in wildlife friendly garden

Located in a small hamlet, close to Cheddar, Wren's Nest was designed by an artist as a rural retreat in a tranquil location. The accommodation has a light, airy feel and has been thoughtfully created in a contemporary style with quirky, personal touches. It is located at the end of our wildlife friendly garden. There is a designated area with table and chairs in front of the studio. A pizza oven is available to use on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with the owner.

A private and rural location in the pretty village of Wedmore makes this the perfect location to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside and historic towns and villages in the area. Wedmore is situated on the edge of the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels, and is close to three incredible nature reserves as well as Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury. This is a great place for bird watchers and wildlife lovers, with excellent opportunities for walking and cycling right from the front door!

The Beehive, at Snatch Farm, Ubley is a new refurbishment of old farm buildings, tucked round the back of Snatch Farm. There is 1 double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, open plan sitting /dining room and bathroom. Surrounded by countryside this is a truly peaceful place. Perfect for couples or individuals to explore the beautiful Chew Valley and Mendip Hills and the cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. The Beehive is next to our family home with access via our garden. Garden View is a self contained idyllic country retreat, the perfect get away for all. It is situated at the bottom of the Mendip Hills, great for walking and relaxing. This has been a labour of love, transforming this unloved structure into great place to stay and unwind, with underfloor heating and a luxurious bathroom to soak and relax in at the end of the day. If you want to venture further a field we are perfectly situated to visit Bath, Glastonbury, Wells and surrounding areas.

Situated in an elevated position in the pretty Somerset village of Compton Martin near Wells, nestling in the beautiful Mendip countryside and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With far reaching views of Chew Valley and Blagdon lakes, you're also close to Wells, Bath, Bristol and Weston-super-Mare. This delightful accommodation is just a stone's throw from the extremely popular village pub.

The cottage oozes character, from the oak beams to the huge inglenook fireplace with woodburner. Well equipped kitchen with traditional oak table and pews. The spacious bedroom has a king size bed and a small single bed, suitable for a child. Adjoining the bedroom, is the shower room with walk in shower. There is a large private patio area for relaxing and barbecuing outside, with views of the hillside. We have a vineyard producing English Sparkling and Still Wines, made on site.

Traditional Shepherds Hut with a back to basics feel, privately situated in our quiet, walled garden, on the sunny slopes of the Mendip Hills. A stones throw from the famous Cheddar Gorge and Cliffs . Access to lovely walks and bike trails direct from your door , and yet a short stroll to pubs , cafes and restaurants. Wood stoves for those chillier nights to keep things cosy , we provide all wood/kindling . You will need to manage the stove yourself , a relatively easy task .

Rookham View Lodge is located on a smallholding on top of the Mendips overlooking Wells. Relax on the patio, catch a view of the Red Kite soaring high, or visit the sheep, ponies, goats, ducks and chickens in the surrounding field. Get active on the many footpaths leading from our property, gently cycle the Somerset levels or try the more challenging rides on the Mendip Hills. Active or relaxing - we guarantee you will enjoy the view from our Lodge at the end of your day.
