Great apartment, nice view from the apartment and from the rooftop pool on Colombo.

I had a great stay at this apartment with my family. The location was convenient, and the apartment was clean and comfortable. Communication with the owner, Vorandhi, was easy, and check-in/check-out went smoothly. Highly recommend for a short-term family stay!

Jayantha kept in touch with me for any need from check in to check out. I stayed with my family for 1 month. The house is great for staying with family. I wanted to stay for 1 more month, but I couldn't due to some personal problems. Jayantha is a very good person. He gave me many concessions. I apologize and feel sorry for you Jayantha. From this place, everything is very close to super market, local market. You can go anywhere in Colombo quickly. It is an amazing feeling to stand on the balcony of the house and see the sea. Finally, I will say, my family and I had a wonderful time. Thank you Jayantha for your cooperation.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The property was exactly as described in the listing (if not better!) and spotlessly clean. The location of the property perfectly located for whatever needed to do. It is about 50 meters from the main road, so you don't hear the noise from the main road. It was incredibly convenient and made exploring a breeze. The nivanka/nadee were incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. They provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. There was a full time care taker at the property and the Shanika - property manager was very helpful. Whatever questions were resolved over a text message I truly felt at home during my stay, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area, and I would love to stay here again the next time. Thank you, for such a memorable stay!

What a great place to stay. Hosts are exceptionally thoughtful and considerate. The room is in great condition, very spacious and well maintained. It’s on a safe and quiet side street with a nice garden and a cat. But you can walk easily to the beach or nearby malls and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Thanks to Harsha and family. They took good care of us and the apartment was clean and perfect for 2 people. With the tranquility there we slept very well, still only 10 minutes to the beach! We'd love to come back!

The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and great dining options. Savon was attentive and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. Lovely property in the suburbs of Colombo! Perfect for a small group of friends and family of 4-5 people. Extremely spacious rooms with well thought out furniture and fittings and to top it all off a large patio to unwind and chill.

My elderly mother, a relative and myself stayed at Prasanna’s place. Prasanna was a friendly host and facilitated especially the needs of my mother. The house was a silent peaceful place. I managed to read a lot in my stay and participated online conference from there. We had good overnight sleep in those great air conditioned rooms. The garden was spacious with lots of trees . Many of them had local fruit which we enjoyed with permission from Prasanna. Local areas were still villages and good to experience the feel of Sri Lankan villages

Velu & Charminder who look after the house and are on hand for pretty much anything are very friendly and helpful and were great for explaining how things work in Sri Lanka. Upul’s beautiful property is the perfect location to unwind after a long flight. It’s close to the airport so we were sitting round the pool within a couple of hours landing. The lovely housekeeper Saja deserves a special mention as she was so helpful and kind and nothing was too much trouble. Saja cooked a delicious curry for us on our first night and on our second and final night we went just next door to the newly opened Crab Cove Restaurant which is highly recommended. Upul’s communication throughout was outstanding and he always responded to my many queries before and after we travelled sometimes within seconds! The property itself is stunning backing onto a lagoon and we took a boat trip out to Monkey Island which was very enjoyable especially as we were collected and dropped off at the bottom of the garden. It was the perfect place to get over our sleepless flight - a beautiful and peaceful location to start our Sri Lankan adventure. Thank you Upul, Saja and Gaya for everything!

Very nice place, and couple minutes walking distance to town - all the shopping and restaurants you could ask for. The host family is very nice, accommodating, and reaponsive. Great stay! So much more than this traveler needed, and oh so nice. Loved being able to do laundry. Did it at night and it was dry in the morning - they have a drying rack which was awesome. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment. We had no issues during our visit . Added extras like tea/coffee, crackers , chocolate biscuits, soft drinks & bananas were a sweet touch . Would highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The spacious apartment was perfect for our needs, especially with all our stuff. The electric clothes rack was a nice touch, and the location made it easy to explore the city. The security guard was super patient, which we really appreciated. A minor con was the AC dripping into the middle of the hall balcony, but it didn’t affect our overall experience. Highly recommend this place for a convenient and comfortable stay in Colombo!

We had a very enjoyable stay in Colombo. The hosts communicated very well from the initial contact we had with them. They were professional in their services, flexible, the apartment was also very clean and the linen was good quality.

Shiffan has been incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. His house was beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful and private retreat. I highly recommend his place to anyone visiting Sri Lanka for a truly memorable experience.

The apartment was nice and cosy. Had lovely views of the city and the sea. Located in a safe area with security at the ground level. Lots of amenities within walking distance or a short tuk ride away. Ahmed and Shaira are also sweet and very responsive hosts. They personally came to check us in and out. They even have a little guide with recommendations for tourists. No regrets staying in Alfred Fern. Definitely will go back again on our next trip to Colombo!

Our family of four enjoyed Vasanty’s place so much. The view is amazing and there’s so much natural light into the apartment it was lovely. The place was extremely clean and had everything we needed. A couple of minutes to the beach, and lots of restaurants close by. We felt very safe and the security guard was lovely and very helpful, including getting us tuktuks when needed. The infinity pool was great and we had the place to ourselves. The pool chair cushions and gym probably need an upgrade but minor issues in comparison to all the positives.

We had a lovely stay here. The place was very clean and comfortable, had lots of facilities. The view is also beautiful. There isn’t much to do within walking distance, however we booked here to relax and prepare for our flight quite close to the airport. Dr M was very responsive and an overall great host. I can definitely recommend this place.

The location of property is absolutely amazing. Easily accessible to supermarkets, restaurants, clothing stores, etc. The apartment I stayed in was fully furnished with all amenities including all kitchenware, towels and toiletries. The space is cooled very well with the bedroom and living space each having its own AC unit. The caretaker greeted kindly and guided me to the room, which had it's Air Conditioning turned on before I even entered. Didn't have to walk in to a warm damp room! He even took care of my laundry. Overall my experience staying here was amazing. The hosts son who manages the property is very welcoming and communicated well throughout my stay. Definitely a hidden gem in Colombo.
