The location and the surroundings were great, especially traveling with a 3year old it felt safe, the guard at the gates were very thorough. The house caretakers were helpful and always there if we needed help with something. The garden was beautiful and well kept. At night the house worker came to put the electric fence on. So we were very well taken care of and Elizabeth our host was ready all the time to help, even if we had to change our arrival time. I will be coming back next year, thank you Elizabeth.

if you are looking for a place that's chill, safe and on a budget, look no further, we stayed there for a month and it was really nice. the place itself was clean spacious enough for the two of us with a nice green yard to hang out in. Jay was always responsive and very helpful, even with things not related to our accommodation. we felt like we made new friends and it was sad to leave.

A wonderful experience. Sally was awesome, gave great advice about surrounding areas she was close by and responded well any questions I had. House was extremely well maintained and huge by my standard. I would absolutely be happy to return for future visit. Thank you for a super visit to Nairobi.

Florence is an amazing host. Very easy to communicate with and very supportive throughout our stay. The apartment is really nice, big and clean. The location is also good near Yaya center and China town. The Coffee & Bagel shop also have a very nice coffee.

I can't brag enough how homely James home felt. Great art work around the house. Spotless & clean home. James really helped me navigating the local area during my stay. He really went above and beyond to make my stay & vacation really pleasant. 100% Highly recommended.

I have been travelling to Nairobi a lot of times, but this is my favorite place to be . A wonderful garden, a wonderful house , and with Consalata and Henry the best people you can ever expect to take care of you . As described - you have to accept, that this is an old property - maybe the water pressure for taking a shower is not what you want . But the beds , the garden, the kitchen and where it is situated offer you the best possible stay you can imagine at Nairobi. I will definitely come back

Mathew is a wonderful host. Very attentive, communication was amazing and dealing with him was great. If I wanted or needed clarification on anything he was available. Has a very spacious nice and clean place Wonderful experience definitely staying there again!

Kris's place is very spacious and has a nice and big balcony. It's on a well secured compound in what looked to me like a pretty safe and quiet environment. Everything I expected to be there was easy to find. There was some tea, coffee, salt, herbs and stuff already there which you otherwise have to get. Ubers are easy to get, but a supermarket (Naivas) was at walking distance. I will certainly try to return here when I'm in Nairobi again.

The location is in a very safe neighborhood in Nairobi. Easy access to UN and Village Market. Robert does a great job communicating and making your stay very comfortable. This is a perfect spot for single travelers or small families l.

Would definitely recommend Steven's place. We had a lovely stay and Steven was always responsive to help us with any inquiries. The apartment is as described in the photos. Would definitely book again when visiting.

Victoria's place is in a great location for visiting Nairobi - handy to all parts of the city and an easy walk to a supermarket, cafes and restaurants, and a really good green grocer's. The flat is just as pictured and has a really good-sized kitchen. The bathrooms are compact but clean and the bedrooms are quite big. All in all a great flat at a very good price. My one suggestion would be a written guide for the flat (TV usage, etc.) and the neighbourhood.

This is a wonderful, safe place to stay, especially if you are visiting KALRO or Lion's Eye Hospital, which are very close. There is a good work area for a computer. The family is super friendly and I enjoyed meeting every one of them. Breakfast and dinner were provided whenever I was in. The attached apartment is quiet and comfortable, and the main house is available anytime. I will be staying here on my next trip.

Susan’s place is located very close to UNON and is convenient for anyone working there. Although there was no private entrance to the room, Susan and her husband were very nice and provided all the privacy you would need while being wonderful hosts. They also have a lovely puppy who is very friendly and had no problem getting along with mine. Overall great location in a secure area and I would highly recommend!

Julie and her family were amazing hosts. This little cottage was almost an island of serenity. Constant assistance with washing clothes etc. I have alerted Julie to some noises, probably animals, over the roof or in the ceiling cavity (roofspace) late at night, every so often. She has assured me that the spaces will be checked and fixed after I depart. All in all this was a great stay!!

Would really recommend Edith’s place, had a 3+ weeks great stay here! Edith is a hospitable superhost and efficient to communicate to via the App and in person as well. Edith’s place was as advertised; if you are not looking for elegance or fanciness, this place is for you. It is cozy, clean, relaxing, safe and easily accessible for a great practical stay in Nairobi. It is located in a safe and secure gated neighborhood. Far enough from the busyness and chaos of downtown Nairobi but close enough to get to downtown and around town by car ( found Uber/Bolt ridesharing services to be quite accessible and convenient although public transport is also available). Grocery shopping and good restaurants are within reach ( walkable distances or short car rides). Would highly recommend checking this place out and would be in my priority list next time.
