Located next to the owners’ home, but still maintaining solitude and privacy, the cottage is surrounded by open fields and is a haven for wildlife.

The Railway Weigh Office (Cliburn Station)

The Weigh Office is a perfect base to relax, unwind and explore The Lakes & the Eden Valley. The building was once a working part of the Eden Valley Railway and has been fully modernised to provide a unique, compact self-catering holiday accommodation for up to two guests. Heated by an environmentally friendly geothermal ground source heat pump, it offers a lounge, modern kitchen, bathroom, double bed on a mezzanine (accessed via a ladder), private parking and a spacious outside decking area.

Eden Valley hideaway - edge of the Lake District

Accommodation provided in delightful character house in Morland near Penrith. The Eden Valley is a charming unspolit part of Cumbria but only 20 minutes from Ullswater. Private annexe, with separate entrance, small kitchen, sitting room with TV. Downstairs toilet. Private outside patio with table and chairs. Facilities to cook simple meals. Tea, coffee and milk provided. It is important to note the bedroom is en-suite but with access through the main house.

Converted Barn, Patterdale in the Lake District

Welcome to Crook a Beck Barn, Patterdale a former Cart Barn which we lovingly restored during 2017. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!

Easy access to the A66 for Keswick. Very convenient to get to from the M6 motorway (junction 41).

The Bothy is a small snug barn conversion adjoining our home close to Ullswater The living accommodation on the ground floor is open plan and has green electric heating and a wood burning stove in a sandstone inglenook, a wooden staircase leads to a bedroom with ensuite facilities. Sleeping a max of 5 adults plus 1 child, all you need is provided. We take extra care for you to enjoy a relaxing home from home, so we clean the barn ourselves at no extra charge. Living next door we’re also on hand with helpful local knowledge and to answer any questions.

Our charming cottage is located in a small, tranquil village 10 minutes from Lake Ullswater in the Lake District. The spacious 2 bedrooms will comfortably sleep 4 people who can enjoy the cozy log burner or private walled garden whatever the season. The cottage is a ideal base for adventures into the lakes, attending a wedding at the nearby Askham or Knipe Halls or if you are simply looking for a escape into the country!

Ryebank Cottage

Ryebank Cottage is in the beautiful, rural village of Bampton. It's a 5-minute walk from the River Lowther and offers a wealth of walks from the front door. A 10-minute drive away is Haweswater which is a great place to have a very peaceful hill walk. In the other direction, Pooley Bridge is more populated and offers diversions such as hiring a rowing boat or travelling up the Lake on a steamer.
