Holiday rentals with beach access in Whitsand Bay

Lovely Cawsands as usual. The studio is always clean and welcoming on arrival, it has everything you might need. The little sunspot just outside the studio is somewhere lovely and peaceful to sit. A few steps from a pretty woodland and a few steps more to the bay, with it's sailing and fishing boats We have always found Mo to be friendly, cheerful and helpful. The locals are very friendly too. Try the bakery for wonderful breakfasts and homemade cakes!

Lovely cosy accomodation exactly as described and as in photos. Light and airy, very comfortable. Kitchenette facilities were fine for breakfast and making an evening meal as long as you plan the meal so that only needs microwave and one hotplate. Goodies left in the fridge were very welcome! Local buses very reliable even on Bank Holidays, to Dartmouth and King's ridge. Enjoyed local farm shop and Start Bay pub meals, local beer and cider. Excellent coastal walks without moving the car. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Colin and Lisa were great hosts. Communication at all times was excellent and friendly. We met Lisa on arrival and she was very welcoming. One of the best and generous welcome packs we've ever had. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well presented, whilst being relaxing after a day out and about. The kitchen had everything that we needed for our stay and the balcony with the view of the marina was a bonus. The bathroom was clean and a had a decent shower and unexpectedly generous selection of products to use. The bed was also comfortable. Great location with Williams Yard just a few minutes away and lots of local cafes, bars and restaurants. We have an EV and found charging points outside Williams Yard and there were also some on a small carpark on the same street, which were very handy for charging our car. It's a 20-30 minute walk to The Hoe and The Barbican. Would happily stay with Colin and Lisa again or recommend to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay at Mat & Megan’s flat. Everything was clean and comfortable, communication was fast and clear, but the absolute stand out was the incredible views front and back.

We may have only stayed a few days but we would defiantly choose to stay here again, for me & my family the apartment is in a ideal location. Lovely sea view from apartment.

Caroline was such a beautiful host! We absolutely loved staying at her place - it was a short walk from both Port Gaverne and Post Isaac, and the parking on site was super handy. The cream teas on arrival were such a lovely touch and the apartment was well equipped, clean and tidy with lots of charm and character. Caroline was so friendly and helpful and we loved meeting her. Highly recommend this place 😊

We had a fantastic stay at Picklecombe Fort. The views were spectacular, as everyone says. We arrived in the rain & wind but nothing dampened our spirits as we gazed out from the truly cosy apartment to the mesmerising view. Over the next days it brightened up, so we were able to sit on the private balcony, and enjoy looking over to Kingsand & Cawsand. The coastal path is close at hand and we would recommend the Cawsand ferry over to Plymouth for a little wander. The facilities were excellent, bed very comfortable and the place was spotless when we arrived. Thank you Tiffany for hosting and your friendly messages. We would love to come back again to explore more of the surrounding area. We couldn’t recommend it enough.

Close to the beach and a lovely pub /restaurant. The large kitchen table was ideal for our family get together. Very peaceful location we would love to return.

We had a fantastic week at Beachside. The house and location were amazing. You’re only 2 mins walk from the beach.The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds made for restful sleep.The location was perfect for exploring the local attractions and the best beach was just next to us.Also amazing view from the house!Highly recommend this beautiful property to others.

Thank you Jax and Simon - we had a brilliant stay. Absolutely amazing location and views of the beach and cliffs from the house. The house was extremely well taken care of and looked immaculate when we arrived. A great set of sofas made for very comfy evenings when in. Jax and Simon obviously take great pride in the house and the experience - we had everything we needed and they were very responsive and proactive in all communications between us. Thoroughly recommended location, house, and owners.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

We had a four night stay with our friends, there we 8 of us in total and it was absolutely perfect for us all. The living, dining, cooking space was exactly what I was hoping it would be and the weather was even good enough to have the bifold doors open which was so good to have the outside in! A really comfortable space to relax and enjoy each others company. Sophie was incredible from start to finish, she was fantastic at responding to any queries and totally kept us updated with everything we needed to know. She also was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure times so we didn't feel rushed at all- thank you Sophie! Also a fabulous little walk to Burgh Island and great beaches. Highly recommended 5*

We had a great time with extended family celebrating my daughter’s birthday. The living room is set up perfectly for a large family and the kitchen is well equipped. The broadband is FAST which for the younger members of the family, was well received. The walk down in to town is very short and for fit people, quite quick (back up the hill). We loved the smell of the air fresheners; the whole place had a really sophisticated feel/smell. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are back in Polzeath.

We had a fabulous stay in Polzeath. The bungalow was pristine with lovely attention to detail. Including everything there that we would need. There was a quiet backyard with loungers on for sunbathing and it is sheltered from the wind. We walked, surfed and relaxed at the bungalow. Comfy sofa, warm and cosy kitchen. We ate out locally and walked to the dining places and had superb walks along the coast. Joey made the check in and check out very easy and was really helpful.Definitely stay here again. Thank you Joey.

We felt right at home in Sandra’s home. What really stood out for us was the amazing facilities. We were able to cook lots of meals and we weren’t short of saucepans and plates / glasses etc. Often I find with air bnb places the kitchens are so sparsely stocked it’s often impossible to be self sufficient. Sandra’s place was perfect for the 8 of us to all be comfortable. Very good value when booking for a large group. We enjoyed the board games and books too. There is no mobile reception so make sure you download the instructions/ gate codes etc before you arrive (we had done this but maybe others might not think about it). Wifi was great in the apartment. We enjoyed a blustery stroll on the beach (winter stay) and watching the local surfers on the huge waves was fun! And thank you for the scones with clotted cream and jam. I loved that. Thank you for having us.

Excellent stay in New Polzeath. Easy access to local amenities. Having stayed in this apartment and other is the block a number of times over many years. Never disappointed! Lovely surroundings, quiet accommodation but only a short walk to Polzeath for surf and lovely food. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone who likes good surf and lots of places to eat and drink.

Jill's place is brilliant! I found it spacious and scrupulously clean with really imaginative great quality furnishings.and appliances. The kitchen is excellent and comes with an impressive supply of utensils, cookware etc. The showers are great and the bed comfortable.There's a lovely upstairs TV lounge with 2 balconies great for sitting out.The courtyard on the ground floor is really attractive and well stocked with BBQ equipment etc. I loved the abundance of greenery both inside and out. It's very easy to find (on the A379) and doesn't involve negotiating any tortuous narrow rroads, thank goodness. Great to have 2 parking spaces. Jill was very quick to respond to a question I had and was extremely helpful regarding arrival/departure times. as well as providing local recommendations. Having stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, I'd say this is the best I have been to so far Thank you so much, Jill. Hope to book again.

Perfect location easy to access all areas. We parked in the more expensive nearby car park for convenience but you can park further away for less. Stairs were a bit of a challenge but the place was spotless.

Great value, great host and location. Only downside is the steepness of the hill after dinner/drinks in town!

We had a great stay at Shirley and Rob's accommodation. We booked last minute for Easter Sunday but notwithstanding it being a holiday weekend the communication was excellent and the home spotless. A great place in a super setting. I am sure we will be back.

Jon and Laura are excellent hosts. I really enjoyed the cozy studio with the stunning views. The distance to any highlights of Tintagel were walkable. Would recommend to anyone!

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay, to be able to have the enjoyment of peace and privacy yet amenities close by… was incredible. Hill side and beach walks right on your doorstep also… words can’t describe this incredible spot. Will 100% be looking into coming back in future.

Stayed here over the New Year period and it was perfect. Great location, the sea view was spectacular and the log burner was a great addition given the cold weather. Local pubs were so friendly and food was great. Will definitely return, thank you.
