Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Wicklow

My family and I spent two lovely nights in the cottage. Truly a home away from home. It was warm, comfortable and large enough for our party of 3 adults and two toddlers. The communication with our hosts was excellent and very friendly. My only regret is that we could not stay longer in this little paradise. I highly recommend the cottage to anyone who loves nature, walking, relaxing, slowing the pace of life. Thank you Richard and Ben for sharing your house with us!

We had a big group stay here, everyone pitched tents, we had a big fire every night and the facilities were great. We brought a generator, but if you have enough battery for a speaker and your phone, and can cook with a gas stove, I really recommend this spot for a big group. There’s a great big barbecue there too, and the sink and facilities for cleaning (and toilets!) were brilliant. Maybe families with young kids would really enjoy this place. Kids would be entertained, and a really nice, comfortable place for parents to enjoy some wine, fire and chats in the evening!

Se está à procura de um local sossegado a 45m do centro de Dublin esta poderá ser uma opção. O acesso é rural e estreito, requer alguma adequação à condução local. A internet é básica, mas tirando serviços de streaming foi sempre suficiente. A televisão tem os canais abertos locais e existe um leitor de DVD's com algumas opções. O sinal de telemóvel é quase nulo. Mas se procura descanso o que há é mais do que suficiente. A cozinha está equipada com as amenidades necessárias, a Mary está sempre disponível para ajudar e é um host bastante simpático. A casa é rustica mas confortável. Ideal para quem vai com a familia para descansar ou lazer. Para trabalho poderá requerer sinal de telemóvel. Se voltar a Dublin esta casa estará na minha lista de opções.

Staying here was like stepping into a peaceful, magical retreat. The cozy wood-burning fire made the space feel so welcoming and serene, and the private sauna was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Waking up to views of rolling fields filled with sheep and the surrounding mountains was pure bliss. Every detail of the stay felt thoughtful and relaxing—it truly felt like a little sanctuary away from the world. I left feeling refreshed, grounded, and already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil escape in nature.

Absolutely loved our stay in the Wicklow Mountains! The home was cozy, full of charm, and offered breathtaking views of the hills and valleys, every window framed a postcard-worthy scene. It felt incredibly authentic, like a true escape into the heart of Ireland. Our host was warm and attentive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and offering fantastic local recommendations. Thanks to them, we discovered some stunning walking trails and hidden spots we never would’ve found on our own. It was the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and thoughtful hospitality. Would definitely come back!

Penny's place was so welcoming and relaxing. Nice studio style with shabby chic decor. The surroundings outside are so peaceful and we were able to walk to the local pub and have a pint and some whiskey. Also, walked down to the church ruins (which you can see from the property) ABSOLUTELY beautiful! We loved that it is next to a small pasture with sheep and lambs! If you're looking for something off the beaten path then this is the place :)

We had a fantastic couple of nights staying at Paul and Karen's place. Everything was absolutely perfect from the outdoor hot tub, to the fantastic Tapas restaurant and cosy bar. Paul and Karen were excellent to communicate with before and during our stay ensuring the hot tub was ready when we wanted it etc. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great wee cabin, very cosy and welcoming. good parking and amazing views all around the area. Sandra tha host was very easy to deal with and couldn't have made the stay any easier. top spot for a couple

We've stayed in loads of airb&bs and glamping and this one was hands down our favourite. The yurt was super cozy, clean and comfy. Host provided hot water bottles which we decided to use and they just added to the comfort. There was a heater in the yurt but we didn't use it. Walked, Lit a fire, made smores, kicked a ball, watched the sheep, played with the resident dog, simple things that added to the experience. Loved the bathrooms, kitchen facilities. Fabulous little touches around the place. It felt very "free" loved that we weren't restricted in the areas we could explore, we weren't met with a list of dos and donts like lots of places. Lorcan was so nice and friendly and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the place. I can't wait to return, perhaps with some friends to enjoy the large communal outdoor seating /bbq area. Couldn't recommend this place more.
