Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

Inside, Shepherd's Rest has a comfy double bed, sofa, foldaway dining area, modern en-suite shower room with flushing toilet and a log-burner, perfect for those cold winter's evenings. Situated in rural Herefordshire, our shepherd’s hut is the perfect hideaway for two adults. Set within secluded woodland with open views, it offers peace, privacy and the chance to switch off. Inside, relax beside the cosy wood burner, sink into a comfortable double bed, enjoy the ensuite shower room and use the thoughtfully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. It’s the perfect setting for a romantic escape at any time of year. Spend your days strolling country lanes, stargazing or a good book!

Tom's Hut

Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Tom's Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and fire wood provided, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated shower room is close to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs. Please note there is no WiFi.

Woodland Hideawayhut, Wye valley Forest of Dean

Wyes workshops, Oak Cottage, Hideawayhut, nestled on the edge of the Hudnalls Nature Reserve, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Self contained space with everything you need, in your own little private forest nook. Lie in your King size bed gazing out, see the stars twinkle through the branches. Sip wine on your veranda. Hire hotub as an extra. Snuggled warm with the Woodburning fire. Indoor fully stocked kitchen, gas hob, fridge. Ensuite hot shower and sink. Separate private loo.

Cosy Shepherd's hut set in a private orchard

This delightful shepherd’s hut is hidden in a private orchard on Duffield's Farm, right in the heart of the Wye Valley. Inside, you’ll find a cosy double bed, a welcoming log burner, and a small fridge for your essentials. Step outside to your own covered outdoor kitchen, with a wood-fired pizza oven, induction hob, and a sink with hot and cold running water-perfect for al fresco cooking. As the evening sets in, gather around the fire pit and enjoy the stars in this peaceful rural setting.

Private, luxurious and cosy shepherd hut

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

Pink Lady Shepherd’s Hut at Harrys Cottages

Pink Lady is located in an apple orchard with stunning views over the countryside. Whilst (literally) in the middle of nowhere, it has everything you need for a memorable stay; superfast Wi-Fi allows you to watch a movie in the comfy bed. Although it’s a tiny space, it feels spacious with a proper mini bathroom (shower and flushing toilet) and kitchen (hob, fridge, kettle, and cooking appliances). The hut has an electric radiator & a logburner, so it’s perfect for a cosy getaway.
