The accommodation was comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The views of the dam were breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect getaway. Our hosts attentive, ensuring our stay was seamless. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore the area, this is ideal spot.

Smithfield is the perfect halfway stop for us from the Eastern Cape to North West. Elaine’s place was great for one night’s sleep. The toys were an extra advantage to keep the kids busy.

A wonderful spot if you are looking for a remote & peaceful but still very comfortable stay. We try and find out of the way spots that showcases the best of the beautiful SA countryside and Lindys place is certainly one of those. The home is very secluded and private with excellent finishings too. If you are an astronomy or star-gazing enthusiast then this is a highly recommended location as the nigh sky is unbelievably awesome here. Literally horizon to horizon...

We came for a night on the way down to the cape… loved it so much that we came back for 2 nights a week later on our return to Pretoria, Hennie is more than a host - he is our friend and we can’t wait to come stay with him again … We will be back next year for sure! From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere enveloped us, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our host was absolutely phenomenal - incredibly proactive, attentive, and genuinely invested in ensuring our stay was nothing short of exceptional. Every detail was meticulously taken care of, and we felt truly pampered throughout our visit. The farm's natural beauty, combined with the warmth and hospitality of our host, created an experience that was almost heavenly. We felt like we'd stumbled upon a hidden gem, tucked away from the world, where time stood still and all that mattered was the present moment. This is the perfect place to be when visiting around Bloemfontein. The host is super friendly and accommodating. The place was accurately described and matched the photos and it was clean. The place is really amazing.

Honey Bee is a beautiful secluded place with great amenities. The host is very helpful and is always available to help. Would definitely recommend the place and will absolutely be returning.

Lizette is the most amazing & thoughtful host who went the extra mile to make me feel right at home. With little snacks in the fridge & cupboard and all the amenities you could need - everything has been thought of. It is situated in a lovely area of town & is nice and peaceful. I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it!

Amazing host! Upon arrival we got Welcome bowl of fruit and biltong. Unexpected but much appreciated.

Anja, Braam's wife, was very warm and welcoming. She helped us manage the dogs well so there was no anxiety about that! She even brought us booking water for coffee this morning when there was load shedding! Braam shared a G. Maps Pin location which made directions and communication very easy. Peaceful place in a beautiful setting. Baie dankie, ons sal terug wees!

Gabbys guesthouse is a world in itself! Walking into her place is similar to walking into a mystical palace with so much you’d wanna see and do. Kevin and her warmth is the most beautiful part of it all! We recommend everyone to stop over at Bloemfontein just to experience her Guest house. It’s beautiful and so is she!
