We are located in 'Huangpu New Village' in Fengshan, Kaohsiung, which is Taiwan's first fully preserved military dependents' village.Today, with only a dozen or so remaining out of the 886 military dependents' villages across Taiwan, we are carefully preserving this old Japanese-style building through our 'Living through Care' programme.The wooden structure inside the house is simple and elegant, and the original layout has not been significantly altered. The Japanese-style space and craftsmanship of the past have been restored, allowing you to personally experience life in the former military family housing area, as if you had travelled back in time. 'We all shine, like the light of the night sky and the light of day.' This is our original intention, and it is also the wish we want to share with every traveller.We firmly believe that every traveller shines in their own way. The Little Dimple an artist's studio

Optimistic Home is a Japanese-style warm and cozy space designed for friends' gatherings and small group travel. It is best suited for 6 people, but can be flexibly accommodated for up to 8 people (including a double sofa bed). The more people you stay, the more economical it is. The room type is three bedrooms, one living room, and one bathroom. The space is spacious and not crowded. Each room has a makeup mirror.The living room has a mahjong table and Netflix, you can play cards, board games, watch dramas, chat and relax together; there is a dining table for many people to dine together, and there is a small corner with camping chairs to rest and relax.The whole room is designed in a wooden tone, clean, bright and comfortable, so you can relax on your trip as if you were at home. Open kitchen with basic utensils for simple cooking and basic toiletries.There is also a balcony and a small balcony, well ventilated. A cosy cottage built with Christianity at its core. In 1984, a veteran from another province and his wife from the Liangshan tribe began looking for a place to settle down in the second half of their lives. By chance, they chose to settle in the simple town of Longquan. Although the guest house is located in a quiet alley, it is about a 3–5-minute walk to the lively neighbourhood. There are convenient amenities nearby, with Veterans General Hospital, a bus station, a pharmacy, PX Mart, a local supermarket, 7-Eleven, Family Mart, and a variety of street food and shops all within walking distance. The only minor inconvenience is that the B&B does not provide parking spaces for cars. If you come by car, you will need to park your vehicle within the white lines on the side of the road or use the car park provided by the Veterans Hospital. Basically, we only host one group of guests at a time, so there is no door lock on the room door. If you really cannot accept not being able to lock the door, we are very sorry, but we cannot provide you with any services for this accommodation. Therefore, you can choose other high-quality hosts to provide you with the services you need. Thank you for your understanding!
