Our house is well maintained and is suited to families and small groups. The home has two queen rooms . A large family room with queen , king single and a single with trundle . All rooms are air-conditioned . There is a slow combustion fire for those cold nights but due to rising cost of wood and low availability the fire is on request . The home has everything you will need for a relaxing stay in Barraba. Close to Barraba hospital, Richardson House and a short walk to the Main Street.

Fresh, airy and spacious Bingara Bungalow is the perfect base to explore Bingara, or sit and enjoy the comforts of its central location. The beautiful Gwydir River is a block away where you can swim, kayak and watch the world go by. Local horse-riding tours are a few minutes walk away, and you’ll often hear the sound of horse hooves walking up the street. The main street, iconic Roxy Theatre, pubs, and shops are a block away. The Old Schoolhouse was originally built for the owners’ children to attend correspondence school but has since been transformed into self-catered accommodation with fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom. Experience the enchanting octagonal “fairy tale castle”, hand-crafted from local timbers. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views from the large, Swiss-style balcony, and take a shower in a hand-sculpted masterpiece! Preferably no pets in The Old Schoolhouse.

Situated in the heart of Cotton and Wheat Country. Our little house offers comfortable, clean and convenient accommodation. Whether you're staying overnight or long term, we can accommodate you. Walk to the local pub and cafe. Council pool directly across the road. 3km to the Burren artesian bore bath ( April - Oct) generally. Burren Junction is a great place to base yourself to visit Lightning Ridge, Mount Kaputar National Park, and many other beautiful spots.

Langholm Homestead, a serene retreat in the bush.

Nestled in the iconic Pilliga Scrub is this homely retreat. Langholm is ideal for bird watching, keep an eye out for the rare Red-tailed Black Cockatoo. Take a day trip to the Warrumbungles, then after your climb, relax in the Pilliga hot bore bath, only a short drive away. Please be aware that Langholm is located on a dirt road being in a National Park ( it’s mostly all weather due to the red soil ) but has an odd pothole, AWD or 4WD vehicles are recommended.
