This tiny cabin (8" x 16') is perfect for a getaway! Although is located on our backyard, you can enjoy a breezy afternoon, an upstairs deck and a pool right in front of the french door. Our home is right in the Dry Forest area. And cherry on top, a rooster adds to its charm ;)
“I wish I had known there was an airport in Ponce would have saved myself from a 2 hour drive from San Juan. This was my 6th trip to the island but my first time staying Guanica. The west coast of the island is amazing. The night we arrived we stopped to get food and one of the people at the bar told us that Guanica is where people on the island go to vacation with their families so that had us excited before we even arrived. My girlfriend is an animal lover and fell in love with their two dogs and two cats. The views from the backyard are amazing of the forest and the pool is nice to take a dip in. Due to the nature of my job I’m a light sleeper. If you are looking to sleep in every morning be prepared to hear roosters and birds going off around 7 am every morning. No problem for me because we got up in the morning and drove to the beach to watch the sunrise. The beaches close to the AirBNB were sparsely populated in February around Valentine’s Day. We only went to 1 beach that had people on it. We followed their advice and checked out some of the sights they told us about: Good morning! This are some places to visit: Playa Santa in Guanica Playa Tamarindo in Guanica La Parguera day or Night with Johnnys Boats Day (rides to Mata la Gata) Night (Tours on the bay) Beaches in Cabo Rojo Boquerón Combate Buyé Places to eat in Guanica: Brisas del Mar Trasiego Forever Flavor Chinese rest. Caños Pizza One hour drive: Visit Rincón Maricao (in the mountains) La Soplaera Waterfall in Peñuelas (30 minutes) The waterfall was amazing and if you get there early enough you have it to yourself. Also check out the college bar scene in Mayaguez dope restaurants and bars. Plus they have scooter rentals for you to zip around town. Check out Mojito beach. The water was clear and calm plus 3 lobster empanadas and 2 drinks were only $9 at the spot right on the beach. But the one place I always tell people to check out in Santurce is 24Marketplace. It’s nowhere close to the AirBNB but hands down its the best club on the island.”
Comfortable apartment private parking fully furnished minutes from the hospital schools shopping center exit towards PR 2
“The room was better than expected, the host told me i could use anything in the apartment which included a washer and dryer. The apartment was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was bigger in space than i expected. The location is not far from a major highway were you can make your way to west coast of the island or towards the east. And if you are into art, go to the city of Yauco and check their Yaocromatic living art throughout the entire neighborhood, absolutely beautiful.”

“Naimah's place is AWESOME! A must visit if you are in Puerto Rico. If you are in the south of the island or want to enjoy a true nature escape, up in the mountains and full of peace then this is your spot. Casa Ambar was lovely, quiet, clean and fully instagramable for the best pictures. The drive is not bad, the location is perfect as it is close to charco Piazza river and just 18 minutes from Salto Santa Clara waterfall. Naimah is very attentive, super humble and manages a lovely retreat in the mountains. This is a young bosslady that deserves full support. Casa Ambar is 5 stars! You can visit @spotinpr on instagram for pictures of our stay, tips for visiting Santa Clara waterfall and Charco Piazza. Also, the breakfast was delicioso!!! Recommend it 100% Book this place yes or yes!”
