Kikori Guesthouse is a 270-year-old renovated old private house in the mountains of Chigata-cho, Tottori Prefecture.The village where our inn is located is selected as a preservation area of traditional buildings in Tottori Prefecture, and it is a tourist spot in Chigucho where you can enjoy the original scenery of the mountain villages of the early Showa period. The main house of the inn is estimated to have been built about 270 years ago (in the middle of the Edo period), and it retains the atmosphere of an old private house in 1960, such as dirt walls, shoji, and a tin roof. In early summer, fresh greenery is beautiful, and it is a cool summer retreat in the middle of summer, and in autumn it is also a famous place to discover autumn leaves.Please come to a hidden place that feels like a step back in time to the old world. The guesthouse has 3 rooms, but this room will be a private room (1 semi-double bed, no extra bed) for 1 or 2 people. From December onwards, it is the season when it starts to snow, and studless tires are required for cars.The living room is warm with a wood-burning stove and a kotatsu, but the only heating in the bedroom is an electric heater.Please take precautions against the cold before going to Yukiguni.

As there is a possibility of snow in winter, we are waiting for reservations from those who are well equipped for the cold and have car tyres, and who can enjoy the experience of shovelling snow during sudden heavy snowfalls.(Please refer to the photo of the snow-covered area.Snow shovels are available for rent, but it will take some time before you can get your car out.) There is no food provided. There is a large kitchen, so please use it.You can also have a BBQ or campfire near the parking lot facing the river.If you'd like, you can try cooking in Habama.Please contact us. The dirt concrete living room and bike garage has a wood stove, kitchen, and sofa, and the functionality is condensed into one floor. It has a simple interior that goes well with any bike, so you can relax with your beloved bike. The long, low eaves have little wind, and are used as a bicycle parking space and barbecue space. In the flat lawn garden connected to the room, you can watch the fire and the starry sky while listening to the sound of the waterway. The sound of the Wakasa Railway in the distance gives a sense of nostalgia.
