Relax in Bergslagen! Here, you are close to the forest and lake. Fåsjön is 250 meters below the house with the possibility of swimming at our dock and there is a rowing boat and canoe at your disposal during the season. If you want to paddle further away, we can drive you there. In the forest, there are berries and mushrooms. Have an evening coffee on the patio with evening sun or barbecue. Bike on MTB trails or beautiful small roads. Visit Pershyttan's mining village, try hiking Bergslagsleden. The small town idyll Nora is 15 km away with its sights.

The house has a large terrace with barbecue, dining group and arrow board. Don't miss a lovely bath in the wood-fired hot tub with room for 5-6 people. Nearby you have paintball, go-kart & elk safari, long-distance skates, adventure trail, tennis court, cross-country skis, canoe or kayak rental. Ställbergs Rökeri where you can buy locally sourced rapeseed oil, honey and smoked fish. About 20 minutes away there is a smaller ski resort, Fjällberget. 1 hour to Romme! 10 minutes by car to Djäkens swimming area with sandy beach.

FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Proximity to the ski slope and high position overlooking Yxsjön! Here is the swimming area with jetty just in front of the house. And ski tracks/exercise tracks just around the corner. About 40 minutes drive to Säfsen, about 1 hour drive to Romme Alpin and 20 minutes to Fjällberget. In winter, Romme Alpin offers 31 slopes and 13 lifts for all levels. When the lake freezes, it’s perfect for skating, skiing, or long walks. For cross-country skiing, visit scenic trails of Gyllbergen.

Torp in Spannbyn

You like to glance out of the window, over a wild meadow leading to a lake? While having some buttered toast and your freshly brewed first coffee of the day? I guess you'll like it here. The little red house is about 90m away from of the Spannsjö, on which's shores my farm is the only real estate.Your little red house has everything you need, no matter the season: sleeping room with 4beds, living room, bathroom, fully functional kitchen and your own washing machine.Wifi is in the house.

Fantastic house with wonderful lake location

Fresh house with room for four people. Here you enjoy the best nature can offer, all year round. Read a book on the pier and swim in Lake Stora Aspen when it gets too hot. Take out the oak and cast for pikeperch that you grill over an open fire. Pick mushrooms around the corner, bask on the jetty, walk on the ice, pimp a perch, hike the utility trail or enjoy doing absolutely nothing. If you get tired of the peace and quiet, you can go to Västerås' largest shopping center in 40 minutes.

Welcome to our cozy log cabin — a peaceful place to relax and adventure! There are 6 beds divided into 2 bedrooms and a small loft with 2 beds. There is a small cottage during the summer with 2 beds that can be rented for a fee of SEK 350/day. Cleaning for a fee. Bed linens/towels for a fee. The cottage has a large porch with stunning lake views. Walking distance to swimming area with sandy beach. Discover museums, cafes, go-karts, spas, fishing trips, downhill/length skis.

A typical charming Swedish red cottage in lovely surroundings next to a lake (2 min walk) with your own bathing place with platform, access to boat and one canoe for up to 3/4 persons and free fishing (You can borrow simpel fishing equipment). Fully equipped main house with 3 bedrooms. Additionally 1 small house available with 4 beds. It is very quiet and peaceful here and you will see the sheep and horses graze near the house.

Come and stay at our small organic farm. You have your own nice house by the lake with access to a sauna. Take a walk in the forest or on the paths around the farm and say hi to the animals. This is an active small scale farm with a genuine feeling! Experience real countryside with nature, silence and a sky full of stars :-)
