The vacation was a dream - Robson the caretaker made it even more magical. I however wish the caretakers were treated better by owners in that area in general as they make the entire stay so much MUCH better. A tiny walk around the area shows how the workers live in conditions I wouldn’t let my dog live in. This is a comment for ALL the home owners there …. Do better. I would book again with Tendai but it’s 2025. Let us not treat workers like slaves .. it’s off putting when we are spending a lot of money & depend on staff.

The location, right on the banks of the Chobe River, is absolutely stunning and added something really special to the experience for our group. From peaceful sunset cruises with dinner to thrilling excursions in Chobe National Park, every activity was seamless and thoughtfully arranged. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We’re especially grateful to the entire team at Chobe Lodge—the hospitality, attention to detail, and warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel completely at home. Leaving was honestly emotional. It’s a beautiful place, made even more special by an incredible team. We cannot wait to return, and without a doubt, we highly recommend Chobe Lodge to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Kasane area. You won’t be disappointed.

A great, quiet spot, a bit off the beaten path. Lots of space - 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, dining room, living room, amazing garden. Kitchen is sparse so bring your own salt, oil, etc - but they had the utensils and appliances we needed. Anwar was a great communicator, and Edith kept the place very clean! Garden was magnificent with unparalleled access to the beach.

First time staying on the Takamaka and it was worth every penny! The boat is really well kitted out and captain Kelly and the crew were incredible. Everyone from start to finish was super helpful and made it a great experience. Would 100% recommend and go again!

Great location on the banks of the Zambezi, peaceful, out of town. Good value. Dawn was very kind and helpful.

We had some lovely days at the Airbnb of Scott and Sarah. It was the perfect accommodation for a little time out . A little pool for refreshing, lots of space, the house was very clean, some games for the evenings and also a small “supermarket” half an hour walk from there - everything we needed. The communication with Scott and Sarah was very clear and they were SO helpful, besides giving good recommendations they really help us organizing stuff. I you hesitate, this is your sign to book the stay. We fully recommend it 😁🌸
