Lovely vacation home on the beautiful recreational park Buitenborgh on the water. Swimming, boating, paddle boarding, fishing and enjoying the sun is our motto. Amsterdam and other Randstad cities are easily accessible by car. Public transportation is a little further away, around 1 km walk/cycle is a bus stop and 4 km walk/cycle is a train station. Your own transportation is recommended and can be parked in Abcoude. Three bicycles are included with your stay. Close to Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam Arena (Ajax) and AFAS Live.

Guesthouse Madiba is located next to the largest deciduous forest in Europe. Very water-rich area 4-5 km (Veluwemeer and Wolderwijd) for a lot of water sports. At the park, you can enjoy a swimming pool and tennis court. There is also the possibility to cycle beautiful cycling routes or to go canoeing. Bicycles and canoes are available. The recently renovated "Gastenverblijf De Hucht" is a wonderful place to really relax... with a large veranda and a spacious view of the garden. To relax, there is also a private wellness. Due to the location, there is a lot of privacy. You can also bake your own pizza in the brick oven!! "Gastenverblijf De Hucht" itself is 87 m2 and equipped with all the necessary luxury. There is a living-dining area with TV and complete kitchen. Furthermore, 3 cozy bedrooms and a separate bathroom with toilet.

Romantic, heated, spacious shepherd's hut with bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Cosy box-bed, comfortable couch, TV incl. Netflix and Amazon Prime. In Summer the (shared) pool can be used by guests. The jacuzzi can be booked separately for €30 per 2 h. All in the peaceful countryside with a view of storks in the season. All you need for the perfect getaway can be found here or in the area. The nature reserve Weerribben-Wieden is only 3 km away and Giethoorn a 20-min. drive. We have rental bikes.

Design gazebo in the woods

• The Veluwe is the largest push moraine complex in the Netherlands. On the north-western edge of this forest you find this gazebo near the locally famous sand drift. It sits on 3 acres of woodland belonging to a detached house. • The gazebo is fully insulated and consists of three spaces: bathroom, bedroom and lounge. There is no cooking option, but there is a small oven for you to use. • The gazebo was fully renovated in 2023 and is decorated in a contemporary mid-century modern style.

The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

Feel welcome! Behind our house is De Schuur, a romantic, cozy and unique guest house, equipped with every comfort so that you can relax and enjoy yourself. Enjoy the Jacuzzi and sauna on the veranda. There is a gas BBQ and a lovely outdoor fireplace. (BBQ and outdoor fireplace for a fee) The bakery with fresh rolls is within walking distance. Sypesteyn Castle is across the road. Amsterdam and Utrecht +/-20 min.
