The chalet is exactly as described in the listing. It is very nice, cozy and practical. Everything was thought of and we were completely satisfied. Contact with Francesca was straightforward and reliable.

We had a nice stay. Very pleasantly welcomed….Everything nice and clean and tidy. Lots of private and a nice garden at your disposal. Close to downtown , restaurants and shops The 2nd bedroom, outside to reach, was a bit small compared to the master bedroom.

We had a wonderful time at Wenja's beautiful beach house. It was so lovingly and chicly furnished, the kitchen fully equipped. The description of the apartment is absolutely true. The kids had a great time swimming in the pool and the sauna afterwards was a treat. In a few minutes, you will be on the beautiful beach with nice beach bar. (It may be worth mentioning that one section is a dog beach. So many friendly dogs are a huge pleasure for our children. ) From the apartment it is only a few minutes by car to the shopping center in the village and many attractions (e.g. Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Zandvoort, etc.) can be reached in 20-40 minutes. Love this place, if you driving in Netherlands, then this place is perfect. You can easily reach Amsterdam and Volendam by car from here. Recommended!

Our host was incredibly nice and reactive. We definitely recommend her and her amazing house on the lac. The views and nature are stunning. We had so many beautiful activities (boat with a licence, free kayac, Gouda visits and museum, walks and bykes, restaurants). Clearly I have fallen in love with the region

We spontaneously booked the accommodation for four nights as a family with two children (14 and 16 years) and immediately had a very nice contact with the hosts. The cottage is accessible by a boat, with which we made great excursions in beautiful nature to the lake. It was a wonderful living close to nature with great relaxation and lots of fun also for the kids. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Warns in the beautiful family lodge. Very idyllic, clean, cozy, great amenities, beautiful private garden, very family friendly, enough space for many people in the cottage, very well equipped kitchen. Right next door are a small playground and an enclosure with sheep and a horse. Our son loved it. The pool has also been nice, just a little cold for small children. The host was totally friendly and helpful and explained everything on site at the lodge. Thanks for the wonderful time. We'd love to come back. :-)

Fabulous spot on the water, friendly and welcoming reception. House has fascinating design features. Outside space and paddle boat great when the sun is out.

Our family (3 kids 9-13) really enjoyed staying at Elisabeth’s home. It was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful and an easy walk to the village for shopping, dining and necessities.

We enjoyed staying with Jaqueline and Nico very much. An enchanting cottage with everything you need and beyond! Even boat and bikes were present. Jaqueline and Nico were very nice hosts who always responded quickly and constructively to questions and took care of them. We will be happy to come back.

A very cozy cottage with everything you need and much more. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the beach is within walking distance. There are many nice beach bars!

We (two adults, two children) had five great days in Egmond and Jan's accommodation despite the moderate weather - and that was also and above all due to this cozy place to stay (including the garden) and its location. In the house and the cabin next to it we found everything that makes such a holiday a pleasant one. Particularly noteworthy are the bicycles (borrowed for small money), all kinds of toys for young and old and - our boys loved it - the large trampoline in the garden. The communication with the extremely nice Jan was exemplary from the beginning, he then welcomed us on arrival, explained everything and also gave tips for the area. Very quickly it was clear: this place is the perfect base to explore and enjoy the area (e.g. the beaches and small towns, but also Haarlem or Alkmaar). Thank you!

Lovely accommodation and great hosts. The apartment had everything we needed. A very large and comfortable bed gave us both a great nights sleep. Great access to a local bus that took us into Leiden from where we could access Amsterdam and Haarlem. Local shops within walking distance. A must for any visitors in the spring is Keukenhof botanical gardens. Tulips were just stunning. Gouda is also worth a visit. We will return at some point.

This was a perfect place to stay for our three weeks in Utrecht. Jochem’s place is bright and spacious, a lovely place to be and right in the heart of the city. We loved being able to walk the few minutes to the canal, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Jochem himself is a fabulous host - so welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated how he went out of his way to make our time there comfortable.

A beautiful house in a peaceful, quiet place. It has everything we needed for a long time stay. Jorrit is very helpful, ha was always avalaible if we had any questions. We definitely recommend this place.

A very warm welcome, a quaint cottage with everything we needed on a generous plot that we had access to all of it. Bus stop close by making it easy to visit Gouda and beautiful location. Conchita the host was very friendly but kept away but was easily found with information when we needed it. Carina’s beach home was lovely. It was right next to the grocery store and less than 5 minutes to the beach and many restaurants. It is also right at the start of the tulip parade which we came for (super convenient with our small children!). It is near several tulip farms as well. It was super convenient. The outdoor space was private, the apartment was clean, and it had plenty of room. The beds were soft and the location was surprisingly quiet. We all were able to sleep in! Carina was super kind and allowed us to check in a little early. She made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend

We had a great holiday in this house. The house is great in terms of amenities,look and garden and suitable for two families. The surroundings are beautiful and for active people who also want to walk or cycle. Clear recommendation 🙌🏻

It was a fantastic and peaceful place for 2 nights. Location was great and interior design was excellent. Everything is available in the accommodation. It is highly recommended.

My boyfriend, our four-legged friend and I stayed at Berrie's house for less than 5 days. It is a very nice little cottage with a mostly paved garden. The sun shines really nicely on the sitting area in the garden and invites you to linger. The living room is brighter and friendlier than it looks in the photos:) The beach can be reached in about an hour on foot.. by car it only takes less than 20 minutes. The public connection to Amsterdam includes a 15-minute walk to the train station and about 40 minutes by train, which takes you directly to the main train station. So if you are looking for a quiet beautiful area between Amsterdam and the beach, this is the place to be:) We highly recommend Berrie's house!
