Hilltop Lodge is a beautiful detached timber building set in enclosed garden (perfect for dogs). It's open plan, with a wood-burning stove to keep you warm on an evening, with well-equipped modern kitchen and dining area. It has large windows with lots of natural light. The garden is abundant in wildlife throughout the year, and has a lovely terrace to sit out on. It’s a great base for relaxing, enjoying wildlife, adventuring, or being creative. It has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. The Nissen hut at HMS Owl was originally built in 1940 by the RAF. The Owl is our family home and took us 5 years to restore it. It has been featured on TV and in numerous design publications. HMS Owl is pretty special as is the restored Nissen available to rent. The Hut is cosy, warm and private with large living space and kitchen and large ensuite bedroom. The Hayloft - a cottage on our Lake District farm

Completed in July 2020, The Hayloft is one of 3 cottages in our old stone barn near Ullswater lake in the Lake District. Bedroom one has a double bed and en suite shower, toilet and basin. Bedroom 2 can be made up as a double bed or two single beds. We can provide an extra small bed in here for a young child up to about age 7.
