Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. The Forge, 30 min to Amsterdam

Come and stay at the Forge. Aukje gives goldsmith workshops in the barn of our farm, hence the name. Abbekerk is a dreamy village as you often see here. Our guesthouse is next to our farm (the house on the left). Brand new, fully sustainable and very spacious. By car it is 10 minutes to Hoorn and less than half an hour to Amsterdam. We are located on a bicycle route and the local supermarket is within walking distance. We feel very much at home here and hope you do too

Renovated old farmhouse near the IJsselmeer

Enjoy peace, space, and coziness at this authentic farmhouse. Our farmhouse is built in 1904 to West Frisian model, and has served as a garnish shop in addition to farmhouse. When we bought the farm, he was 116 years old, and had the necessary overdue maintenance. Little by little we are renovating the house, so it now has well-functioning heating again! We're putting Airbnb's proceeds back into the home, so we're now saving up for renovating the roof.
