No 2 Shepherd Hut is a warm and comfortable traditional shepherd's hut which sleeps two in the village of Cumnor, 3.5 miles from Oxford Station. Enjoy the best of both worlds with the peace and quiet of the countryside, and the closeness of Oxford with its ancient buildings and variety of restaurants and pubs. The hut is in a paddock with another shepherd hut, with field views, close to two local pubs and a village shop. Enjoy local walks or a stroll alongside the Thames (guide book supplied).

Sandra and her husband built them and the story behind them is really lovely. Each hut was cosy and thoughtfully decorated. They were spotlessly clean wirh so many nice touches. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed and more. The location is brilliant for easy access to Oxford, whilst being able to stay in peaceful quiet Cumnor. Sandra is a brilliant host who made our stay extra special and we will be back again withiut doubt!”
Please note that we have building work taking place from 30th June 2020 - 10th Aug. Builders are working from 8am until 5pm. Therefore there is noise within these hours. Lovely, bright large bedroom with king sized bed and double wardrobe. High vaulted ceilings.Views of the garden. Modern en-suite shower room. Fyfield is a beautiful village offering easy access to Oxford. The bus route to Oxford (S6) is a 5 min walk from the house. Very well regarded pub/restaurant within walking distance.

Our place is good for business travellers, solo adventurers, and couples. We live in a small village which is perfectly located for the A34 taking you to Oxford, London (via Didcot railway station) and the famous Bicester Designer Village for Boutique shopping. Trains frequently go from Didcot to Paddington Station in London within 45 minutes. A parking space is available for guests.
