I had the pleasure of staying at Tensas Tower, and the images don’t do it justice. Paul, the host, was excellent—responsive and thoughtful. The location is perfect, within walking distance of great spots, yet feels private. The architectural design is stunning, blending industrial and nautical elements. Multiple balconies offer plenty of seating and are positioned perfectly for sunrise and sunset views. Inside, the space is larger than expected, with a smart layout, great surround sound, and a record collection. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the shower—with five heads and great pressure—is a hidden gem. Now, the staircase is small and steep, but that’s part of the architectural charm. I recommend bringing a small suitcase or soft bag for easier transport. That said, the space is well thought out, making for an unforgettable stay. If you’re looking for a unique getaway that blends comfort, style, and great design, the Tensas Tower is absolutely worth it.

Linnia and Trent were exceptional hosts and we absolutely loved the little cottage they've fixed up for guests. Unfortunately, a very cold cold front came through the day we arrived so it limited our outdoor plans but their recommendations for dining were fantastic! We hope to go back when it's warmer and enjoy some of the amenities they offer which looked wonderful.

This house was exactly what we needed for our family Christmas get together. It had plenty of space for everyone and was open concept so we could enjoy the company. The kids loved fishing on the dock and roasting s’mores.

Quaint cottage with view & direct access to Bayou Teche. Loved sitting on the dock watching wildlife, boaters & kayakers any time of day! The cottage is original construction with true Cajun feel. Furnishings, including the bed, are very comfortable. Enjoyed remote work with a view of the bayou all week!

Beautiful place on the bayou. Peaceful, clean & cozy accommodations. I have lived in New Iberia for 3 1/2 years and have always wanted to stay here. So happy I finally got the chance. I hope to come back in the springtime or summertime to be able to enjoy the spacious back patio area. Absolutely loved the decor inside and out. Within walking distance to bars & restaurants. Greatly recommend this hidden gem!!!

What can I say??? WOW!!!!! It's a BEAUTIFUL place, I fell in love with it and how it was decorated. So peaceful, it rained while we were there and the sound of it hitting the roof was heavenly. So calming and relaxing.

the place is homey and clean, it doesn't have internet! so please make a note of that, i didn't read the full amenities so that's on me, but regardless it's a really cute quaint place. everything is clean

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming fishing cabin on False River! The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and it was the perfect spot for our family of six (including two kids) and our two dogs. The porch was our favorite place to start each day with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, taking in the peaceful view. The dock was great for a little fishing and enjoying the serene atmosphere. Inside, the cabin was older but cozy and well-equipped. We were able to cook breakfast together, and the kids had a blast watching movies and playing games in the evenings. It really felt like a home away from home. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, was incredibly responsive, and gave us great recommendations for local activities. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and spend quality time with our loved ones. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly retreat!
