Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Aetolia-Acarnania

An incredible villa. As others have said, the pictures do not do it justice. The outdoor areas are particularly ‘wow’. The infinity pool is spotless, and has incredible views out across Sivota bay. The loungers are so comfy, and the vine canopy idyllic. We spent many happy afternoons chilling around the pool, listening to music and reading books. The terrace is equally lovely, with the same fantastic views. And the addition of the BBQ and outdoor kitchen meant we could enjoy authentic home cooked fare as the sunset. A really magical place. Inside there’s everything you need; a well stocked kitchen, a hot shower, plentiful towels and very comfy beds. Plenty big enough for four adults. George was a great host - rapid to respond, very accommodating of requests, and friendly to a tee. Something he shares with his parents, who gave us the most special of welcomes on check in! Άψογη επικοινωνία με τον Δημήτρη, μας πρότεινε δραστηριότητες και μέρη για φαγητό που αποδείχθηκαν πολύ καλές επιλογές. Το κατάλυμα όμορφο, ζεστό, όπως ακριβώς στις φωτογραφίες πάνω ακριβώς από την πλατεία του Προυσσού.

Sehr schöne Pool Anlage, ca. 3km von Agios Nikitas. Sehr gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Villa mit allen Ausstattungen, die es braucht. Sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfreich!

We had the most wonderful stay with our two children. The house is perfect with so many amenities. All the appliances are high quality and basically brand new! We had everything we needed and more. The pool and bbq area is fantastic. The views beautiful. Location is private but easy to get to other locations. We loved visiting Sami and the Melissani Cave’s not to be missed. The host went above and beyond, always responsive and kind. We highly recommend the house and have already told family and friends about it!

Πολύ φιλόξενοι άνθρωποι και διαθέσιμοι να μας βοηθήσουν σε ότι χρειαστήκαμε. Το σπίτι ήταν πολύ ζεστό και κατάλληλο για ξεκούραση κοντά στη φύση. Το χωριό ήταν πολύ ήρεμο με πολύ λίγους κατοίκους αλλά σε καλό σημείο για μετακίνηση με αυτοκίνητο στα γύρω χωριά, στα βουνά και στη λίμνη. Θα το επισκεφτούμε ξανά!

Το χωριό και το τοπίο είναι απλά μαγικό, το σπίτι ακριβώς όπως στις φωτογραφίες, είχε όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν, οι ντόπιοι εξαιρετικά καλοσυνάτοι. Μπορείς να κάνεις ωραία βόλτα με τα πόδια στο χωριό, τα Καλάβρυτα είναι 40 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο, η Παναγία η Πλατανιώτισσα 10 λεπτά. Η θέα είναι μαγευτική και το χωριό πολύ ήσυχο. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ!

We had a really great week at Nektarios’ place! It’s a really peaceful spot with a beautiful view of the bay, and some lovely taverna’s aswell as the beach within 5 minutes walk. It was a convenient base for exploring Lefkada although a car is an essential. Nektarios was a super helpful and friendly host, and would definitely recommend staying here. We’re already thinking about a return trip to Lefkada!

This is the second time we’ve stayed in the Chloe villa and it didn’t disappoint! It’s such a beautiful location with an amazing sea view to watch the sunrise. The pool is directly below and the sea over the road which is perfect for early morning swims. Especially due to the changing temperatures in the water where salt meets fresh and there are warm spots and cold spots. It’s a short pebble beach so water shoes (or flippers in my daughter’s case) make getting in and out of the water much easier. Steve was a brilliant host! Nothing was too much trouble. Really responsive and because we had a late flight extended our checkout time until 6pm which meant we could enjoy a full last day. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, including some starter items for your arrival, such as biscuits, jam, milk, butter… and wine! There is a coffee machine, toasty maker & everything else you may need (incl. washing machine and dishwasher) A 20 min coast walk straight to Sami!

Mr. Christos is one of the warmest owners I have ever met. He was always willing to help and provide guidance whenever needed. The place is just amazing, very clean - recently renovated and extremely hot / warm. Moreover, the location exceptional if you wish to explore Karpenisi and everything nearby. We will definitely visit it again. Thank you for everything! Thank you for being so kind!!!

stayed for 4 nights in the apartment, with 2 friends. great clean space with balcony to each room, 2 bathrooms and a good kitchen. supermarket at end of road and walkable to shops, restaurants, harbour and beach. easy to park outside, with no issues and you'd need a car to visit local attractions and area, due to limited public transport. would be happy to recommend or stay again.

Great communications with clear arrangements for meeting us on arrival, after the journey from the airport. Good local restaurants and a supermarket/ bakery 5 minutes walk. Also 5 minutes walk from the underground lakes. 1.5km from Sami on foot - you can stroll there and back for a huge choice of bars, shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was great. Welcome wine, juice and water in the fridge and 4 coffee pods with UHT creams. Butter and jam portions also in the fridge. Decent parking around the apartment as well. I would highly recommend. Great for two - we had our son on the sofa bed, so can accommodate 4. If you see Piggy the Dog, say hello. He had the uncanny ability to walk us to the nearest restaurant where he then enjoyed the leftovers.

A perfect, quiet location , kind hosts, and amazing little neighborhood. We happened to meet some of the neighbors and they were friendly and helpful. We will come again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this villa! The views were nothing short of breathtaking, providing a perfect backdrop for our getaway. Communication with the host was seamless; they were clear and responsive, making check-in and our entire stay effortless. A highlight for us was when my partner developed a severe headache and, unfortunately, we had forgotten to pack any medicine. To our relief, the villa came equipped with a medical kit that included paracetamol. This thoughtful touch truly saved the day and showcased the host's attention to detail. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we can’t wait to return again and bring our friends and family to enjoy the breathtaking view

Villa 4 has a stunning location with a superb sea view. The amenities of the 5star hotel are available , inclusive of a free shuttle service into Skala. We have been staying at villas in Europe for nearly 30 years and this one is up there with the best. One small point....since this was our first visit to Kefalonia , it would have beneficial to have a brochure on site outlining places to see , restaurants to visit , local amenities etc. Overall , I would thoroughly recommend this villa.

Wir waren 5 Tage in der Unterkunft und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Bei der Anfahrt ist das letzte Stück Straße etwas holprig und man läuft auch vom Parkplatz einige Stufen hinab zum Quartier. Aber der Blick von der Terrasse und vom Bett morgens aufs Meer ist dafür einfach nur traumhaft; der Strand im Oktober fast menschenleer und dazu das kristallklare , türkis schimmernde Wasser. Da ist man auch gerne bereit, den Hang hinab und später wieder hinauf zu laufen. Das Haus mit der Kombination aus Naturstein und Holz wirkt sehr einladend ; der Platz in den Zimmern ist großzügig bemessen, das große Doppelbett super bequem. Da wir gerne selber kochen, hätte ich mir ein bisschen mehr Equipment in der Küche gewünscht oder vielleicht auch einen Außengrill. Wie wir erfahren haben, ist es in den Sommermonaten wohl nicht ganz so ruhig- jetzt war es sehr erholsam und auch ein spätes Auschecken ohne Aufpreis kein Problem.

Quite possibly the best villa and location for a quiet and special get away from it all! Sivota is very pretty and has a beautiful marina with many restaurants; lots of villas dotted around the surrounding valley. Most are a bit tricky to get to by car as the lanes and tracks are narrow and stoney, this one is no different as you negotiate the approach. A few trips and you get to used to it though. The villa itself has direct access by foot to the harbour which is a great plus, literally a few minutes and you’re in the owners restaurant which is also fabulous! Elena welcomed us, showed us around, gave us lots of good recommendations for the whole island. We couldn’t have asked for a friendlier host! The villa is perfect! We loved the views, the decor, the pool and especially the private sea access which we used every day for invigorating swims and snorkeling. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, lots of thoughtful touches and welcome goodies. Great villa, superb location!!

We absolutely loved our stay in Lefkada! We went during the shoulder season and enjoyed empty beaches, beautiful views by the pool, and warm hospitality from our host. The house was spotless and perfect for our large family. The surrounding area is private, but there are plenty of restaurants, etc just a short drive away. Multiple beaches can be accessed within minutes. Our host responded immediately to all our questions and allowed us to have a flexible check-in since we were arrive later in the evening. Highly recommend a stay here!

Amazing house with nice garden, roofed bbq area and small private beach. Equiped with everything you need. Everything is clean and as described. Beds are comfortable. Supermarket and really nice fish taverna reachable in about 10 minutes by foot. Dimitrios and his parents really are amazing hosts. They were very helpful in every way and even prepared food for us. Very hopitable without ever being intrusive. I can absolutely recommend this place as for me that was the best airbnb experience I have had so far to be honest.

The villa is an escape from the world in which you can enjoy a holiday without having to leave. It has a prestigious homely feel and it was a pleasure for Lena to allow us the last minute booking. It is next door to a hotel and in the evening you can hear the guests when you are in the garden, but nothing can be heard when you are inside. The first night this perturbed us but once we utilised the bar we were much more welcoming of the nightlife. Sun is in the garden and on the pool until late afternoon and the pool was so clean. The views were to die for and the beach access was perfect . Be aware the pool is deep, but my 5 and 3 year old spent the whole week in it with their arm bands. Lena recommended local restaurants and even arranged for the amazing Konstantina to cook us a proper home cooked meal for a private dining experience. Please do not miss out. Stunning villa in Lefkada! One of our favourite stays anywhere in Europe. The view is unbelievable - even better than the pictures. Lydia was a great host who included a lovely check in basket of various goodies which was a really nice touch. The villa itself was very spacious and also had a beautiful pool, bbq and ping pong table. We will definitely be back!
