The palace is one of the few in Bari Vecchia where is present an elevator.

The trullo has been recently renovated respecting all the historical and architectural features of the structure without renouncing modern comforts. This building was first used a cannon house and throughout the following years served as a warehouse, a coal pit and an atelier of a renowned local painter.
