This newly renovated cozy cottage is in the middle of the forest on the Småland highlands. The cottage is close to hiking trails and lakes and by car close to the unique wooden town of Eksjö, the elk park in Skullaryd and Skurugata. If you want to go on a day trip, it is an hour to Astrid Lindgren's World. All rooms in the cottage are newly renovated with care to preserve the feeling of this soldier's cottage from the 1700s. There are 4 beds and a sofa bed. Fishing opportunities are available as you have access to a boat about 1.5 km from the cottage.

The apartment is newly built and has all amenities. A crib/travel bed and high chair can be set up if desired. Only 10 minutes to the unique wooden town of Eksjö and about 45 minutes to both Jönköping and Vimmerby (Astrid Lindgren's world). The car can be parked right by the property. Dammstugan is located on beautiful Asby udde. Here you live in the middle of beautiful nature with a nice view of the landscape. Large spacious porch with both day and evening sun. Hiking trails close to the cabin. Possibility of nice fishing in beautiful Ödesjön, where you can walk in 10 minutes. There are plenty of pike and perch. It is also possible to rent a rowing boat. Free access to trampoline, swing and toys. Guests need to bring their own bed linens and towels. Possibility to charge the electric car

Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

Stor chans att få se mycket vilt som rådjur, älg, räv och även Havsörn. 500 meter promenadstig till ångbåtshamn, badplats och fiske.
