Holiday rentals with a patio in Agios Nikolaos

An absolute dream vacation! The location right on the beach could not be better, and the roof terrace was the highlight of my stay – I spent every day there. René and Nadine are top hosts, and Georgios on site welcomed me warmly and gave me a great briefing. The tips I got made my stay even better – they were really worth their weight in gold. The penthouse is perfectly equipped and offers everything you need for an all-round successful vacation. The location of the penthouse is just perfect – right by the sea and within walking distance of charming cafes and restaurants. The surrounding area also offers many sandy beaches. Particularly noteworthy is how accommodating René and Nadine were: They allowed me to arrive earlier and depart later, which made my stay even more relaxed. Absolutely recommended! I will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend this Airbnb

Absolutely incredible experience! Popi went above and beyond in every possible way. Her garden is beautiful, and she makes the most delicious food. Tertsa is such a special and peaceful place. The Lambros Taverna is a must for breakfast lunch and dinner. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. Truly the best Airbnb experience we’ve had.

The apartment is ideally located in a quiet area facing the saltworks. Well-equipped, dishes, new washing machine, fridge, flat screen... it is in the middle of two other apartments. The first being rented by an extremely welcoming and helpful resident. Vasilis offered us homemade bread, family honey, lent us his snorkeling equipment and advised us on good local tips. Elsa is also extremely responsive, understanding, pleasant and friendly. It is possible to swim on a beautiful beach of large pebbles a 5-minute walk away (Paradisio Beach) or further on the peninsula. A big favorite for Kolokitah beach, crystal clear water, a shaded beach accessible by car or 30 minutes walk. We came at the end of October, a lot of restaurants were starting to close like the Paradisio Tavern nearby. The period is ideal with children as is the small closed courtyard in front of the apartment. You just have to watch out for the few steps and cacti.

A breathtaking view, perfect tranquility, a very responsive and warm host, very close to the very pretty towns of Elounda and Agios Nicolaos, an ideal environment for walking or running in the mountains… our only regret is having to leave this dream place.

We had a great time in the accommodation! We had all the space and it was provided with everything we needed. The accommodation was in a top location. Super close to everything and within walking distance but still in a quiet place so you experience little to no nuisance. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone!

The apartment is equipped as described. Soft bed, terrace and pool facing west. View of the olive groves and a valley. We were lucky and had the pool completely to ourselves on almost every day. If the other apartment is occupied (with 7 people on two days with us), you share the terrace and pool. The water quality of the pool is excellent. It is cleaned regularly. The host family is always available, yet you have great privacy. They are very welcoming and surprised us several times with small touches: tomatoes from their own garden, Greek sweets and treats, ouzo, etc. The property is easily accessible by a small car through the narrow streets of the village with some driving skills and is only about 15 minutes' drive from Heraklion. There is almost no aircraft noise. Within a few km there are very delicious taverns. Thanks again for having us as your guests.

This was my second long-term stay (45 days) with Xristina and I am once more than satisfied with the accommodation which is modern, well-equipped and impeccably clean. Xristina is adorable: attentive, a sympathy that confirms Cretan hospitality, always available and very helpful. I even think we became friends. So I recommend the apartments of Christi Apartments without hesitating! You will have a wonderful stay.

Had a great stay at Eva's place. Easy to find and her cousin Popi was waiting for us with the keys. Plenty of space and beds were comfortable. The patio was perfect for breakfast.Easy to get to from Heraklion/ Lerapetra, buses on time and just 14€ one way. Lots of good restaurants at a stone's throw.

House with the sea (still warm at the end of October) a short walk away, as you can see from the photo, clean, like new. Friendly and proactive host, who contributed to a very pleasant stay. Weaknesses? I didn't find any.

remarkable and very well thought-out architecture; the building materials are of quality and the space is maximized. The whole place offers plenty of comfort. Marilou is very attentive to ensure impeccable service: many products provided, very regular maintenance, cleaning and linen change. We would highly recommend.

Staying in Agios Nikolaos is usually more costly per night than most other places in Crete so we were really delighted that Dimitris's accommodation gave us all the things we were looking for whilst being within our budget. Dimitris was very welcoming with some useful extras & treats that helped get our stay underway. He showed us around the property and provided some great info on locations and tavernas worth visiting during our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable & the shower very modern, both things were important to us. The air conditioning was efficient & the garden & shared beach area [with the adjacent villa] was lovely. The bedroom & bathroom were slightly smaller than other places we've stayed on Crete, and if walking into the centre for an evening, the walk back when dark would be maybe a bit much [return taxi a better idea] though none of these detracted from our enjoyment. Overall we were very happy & would certainly recommend Dimitris's villa.

A gem and a beautiful retreat in southern Crete. The villa has everything your heart desires, a beautiful view, pool and a modern kitchen that makes every heart of a hobby cook beat faster. I will miss the morning and evening bath in the pool with the view. Since it has almost no light pollution, you can see a starry sky and the Milky Way with the naked eye. Secluded beaches are easily accessible by car within 30 minutes, so a car is highly recommended. Doesn't have to be an SUV. Sam is available at any time and communicates very quickly. Furthermore, he or Lefteris are always available with tips and advice. Sam and Anel are more than super hosts and I can recommend their villa villa 200%.

This place was amazing. Stunning views, private beach, everything you need to stay for a while and relax. Exactly what we were looking for.

Inga's place is located in the perfect Cretan village. Everyone in the village is really friendly. The restaurants (recommended by Inga) located a couple minutes by foot were lively, inexpensive, and had great food. The place was advertised - clean and well furnished. The village is quiet and peaceful and a short drive away from nice beaches and hikes. Was a great base to explore Crete. Inga was always friendly and helpful - and always had great recommendations. Would definitely recommend staying here over the more touristy options in Agios Nikaloaus or Elounda!

George was very helpful from start to finish! It was beautiful, clean and well located in the area. All the little touches, directions, and help from George were more than enough. A wonderful host, we recommend it! Thank you 🙏🏼

The penthouse apartment for 2 people is located 30 min walk from the center of Agios Nikolaos in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The apartment also has its own parking space in the yard. The highlight is the huge private rooftop terrace with an incredible view of the gulf of Mirabello. The kitchen is well equipped. There is nothing missing. All rooms have central heating which can be helpful in the low season. But the air conditioning in all rooms also ensures relaxation from the heat in the summer. If you don't like stairs, you don't have to shy away from the penthouse apartment, as the elevator makes everything accessible and very comfortable. The accommodation offers full privacy as it is located exclusively on the top floor. Host Marianthi is super nice and responds immediately to requests. I can fully recommend this Aibnb. If we go on vacation in East Crete again, we will try to get this apartment again.

Nickel apartment in a quiet area away from the city. The owner is very cordial and very discreet. All the equipment is laid for a very good stay with little extra touches. great value for money!

Giannis place was a perfect stay for our family. The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, leaving fresh fruit and cold drinks for our arrival and recommending restaurants and exclusions. The view from the balcony of the ocean was beautiful. The place is a short 15min walk from the centre but it suited us as there was free parking on street. I would definitely recommend this place!

Everything was very good. Very clean, nice decor (not too much, not too little), well equipped (incl. Washing machine), kitchen very good, with spices and fridge was filled with breakfast items for us. Lots of little hospitable touches. Great location and beautiful views. Nice hosts and tips for restaurants and excursions. There were five of us and we were all very comfortable!

A very good room in a quiet spot at the edge of Hersonissos, clean and equipped for every need. The various little touches make it stand out. Checking in and out is easy and convenient. Our Vangelis was there for every service, kind and pleasant. The treats made us feel welcome and started our stay pleasantly. We would book this room again and recommend it.

This is a great apartment, centrally located and really useful amenities such as the washing machine. The roof terrace is a great sun trap with views to the sea. It's shared with the other holiday apartment but this posed no problem for us and we found it available to use when we wanted. Nikos's parents brought us home made pastries on two mornings. We'd recommend eating out at Scala and Scirocco, but loads of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The two local beaches were close by. A great apartment and we'd strongly recommend it.

This apartment is truly impressive - spotlessly clean, incredibly spacious, and very comfortable. The large balcony offers a perfect spot to relax with the sea just metres away. The bathroom has a great shower. During our stay, a few evenings were quite chilly, but the heating function on the AC unit kept us warm and cozy. Apostolis is the perfect host. He contacted us before we left the UK with clear arrival instructions, met us at the apartment, and took the time to show us everything we needed to know. He welcomed us with fruit and wine and was genuinely keen for us to enjoy our stay. When we visited Heraklion, he kindly recommended a great place to eat, and on our second morning, he surprised us with some delicious Greek sweet treats for breakfast. The only slight downside was some noise from the bars below in the bedrooms, though we were still able to sleep. However, waking up to the stunning sea view from the balcony made up for it.
