This house was built around 1400, renovated in 1990, and is located in the earliest inhabited part of the village of Oia. Situated adjacent to the Venetian ‘castle’ it boasts a spectacular view of the caldera and the village of Oia.
“Stop looking around and rent this place! The photos and description do not do it justice. There is a more than 180 degree view from your large terrace that includes part of the village with its blue church domes. You are on street level, which means a bit less privacy (but still enough privacy) and a bit more tourist chatter, but also means the best view because you are higher up, and easier access because you’re right on the street. The room is charming and has everything you need. There were many thoughtful extra touches. We were there celebrating our 50th anniversary and Emily found us reservations at a really special restaurant. They bring fresh bread daily. The location is great, close to the center of town. And Oia is just so beautiful!”
Mykonos Divino is a brand new complex ideally located at the peak of the hill "Agia-Sofia", above of the New Port of Mykonos and just 3km away from Mykonos town (Chora). Due to this location, offers panoramic and breathtaking views of Mykonos town, New port and the endless blue of Aegean Sea and some Cyclades Islands including the ancient sacred Island of Delos. All the villas in our complex have private swimming pools.
“First and foremost, the hospitality for this place is like no other. Markos picked us up from the airport and drove us into town because we had an early flight and the place was not ready yet. Then he picked us up and took us to the supermarket before heading to our place. What other host has ever done that for you?? Once we got to the place, Markos gave us a detailed map of Mykonos and pointed out everything from the best beaches, restaurants, clubs, etc. These tips helped us our entire trip! Then he gave us taxi number and his own drivers contact info to give us a ride when needed! They always responded promptly. Because you are on in a private villa on the hill with amazing views, you are a little far from town. If you are not renting a car, his drivers always were available for us for about 8-20 euros max. Now, the villa itself. WOW! The views are absolutely spectacular right from your front door. You can see all of Mykonos during the day and all lit up at night. The place is sparkling clean and they give you fresh bath and pool towels daily (such a plus!) I truly cannot recommend this place enough. Easily the BEST Airbnb I have ever booked and if I am ever back in Mykonos, there is no where I’d rather stay!!!”
Step in a real life Santorini postcard while staying in this unique traditional cave house that offers an unobstructed and captivating caldera view! You can spot the cave house on most of the photos of Oia, due to its distinctive terracotta colour!
“That view. Completely amazing and unbeatable. Coffee and watching the sun come up on the balcony every morning was unbelievable and the +/- 2 minute walk to watch the sunset from the lookout point was amazing as well. Fantastic location within easy walking distance of everything you’ll need. The hosts were so incredibly helpful with maps and tips to maneuver the somewhat labyrinth-like streets of Santorini and how to interpret the bus schedule/routes if I didn’t want to take a taxi to other towns. The daily cleaning service was also so appreciated. The biggest con was trekking in and out with my bag. Not the hosts fault AT ALL (they actually helped me carry things at arrival) but be prepared for the rocky streets that are often very steep with uneven stairs. A bit of a workout if your bag is large! This is to be said for anywhere in Santorini because all of the streets are this way, but worth the warning if you’ve never been :)”
