Cabin holiday rentals in Ål Municipality

This place was fantastic for our first Norway trip! One of our best AirBNB stays ever! We had 16 people, adults and kids, and this space was comfortable for everyone. Lots to do also - we went dogsledding, skiing, cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing, ice climbing, and took advantage of their sledding hill which was pretty epic. Wish we could have stayed for another week.

Eine sehr schöne Hütte, es war alles da und der Whirpool war sehr einladend. Schnelle und zuverlässige Antworten vom Anbieter . Klare Empfehlung.

Jättefint hus, med gott om plats. Enkelt att få tag i Andreas via telefon och var jätte hjälpsam. Finns inget att klaga över 10/10 från oss

En utrolig fin og hyggelig hytte med en hjemmekoselig følelse. Bra beliggenhet med kort avstand til skiløyper som gikk over et vakkert fjellandskap. God plass i hytta og godt utstyrt med utstyr og diverse brettspill. Passer kjempe bra for en familie med barn. Veldig hyggelig verter som svarte raskt på henvendelser. Boblebadet ute var supert, fantastisk flott å ligge der ute i mørket og se på stjernehimmelen. Anbefales!

Veldig fin og koselig hytte med alle fasiliteter. Nydelig utsikt, nyoppusset og pen hytte, og fine omgivelser å gå tur i. Veldig deilig med en tur i boblebadet etter en lang skitur.

Veldig koselig hytte, har alt du trenger og litt til. Husverten gir veldig gode instrukser og svarer raskt. Absolutt en hytte jeg vil anbefale videre og leier gjerne igjen ved en seinere anledning.

Me and my family had a great ski vacation and recommend this place if you want to have beautiful mountain views with amenities just few km away.

Het huisje is leuk, Noors, fijn en zeker ook erg comfortabel. Alles is er wat je nodig hebt. Knut Erik is een hele fijne gastheer. In ons geval was het ook fijn dat het huisje bijna aan de piste van Solheisen lag. Dit skigebied was boven verwachting prettig. Klein, maar een paar mooie afdalingen(blauw, rood, zwart), de best onderhouden pistes en ERG rustig.

Fantastisk hytte med høy standard og alt av fasiliteter. Utsikten er rett og slett nydelig, og vi har kost oss masse under oppholdet. Hytten er smakfullt innredet, godt utstyrt og byr på alt man trenger for et komfortabelt og avslappende opphold. Verten var både hyggelig og profesjonell, og hele opplevelsen har vært upåklagelig. Kan virkelig anbefales på det varmeste – vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Trevlig stuga som vi nu hyrt två år i rad. Härlig utsikt över dalen - och nära till Hemsdal skicenter. Bra med fyrhjulsdrift för att nå stugan om det nyligen snöat.

Das Haus von Frode liegt wunderschön in der Natur. Frode ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus zu putzen ist zu zweit kein Problem. Es wäre aber gut, wenn mal jemand einen richtigen Frühlingsputz macht.

It was our 5th time at Ragna’s place and we enjoyed it a lot again! Beautiful cozy cabin close to skiing and hiking tracks. Ragna is very good at communicating and providing tips for the stay.

Die Unterkunft war schön von Natur umgeben und war ein wunderbarer Ort, um für einige Zeit den Alltagstrubel hinter sich zulassen. Es gab viele Wanderwege in der Gegend und man konnte außerdem mit etwas mehr Fahrtzeit bekannte Naturwunder wie Wasserfälle und Fjorde besuchen. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgeberinnen war immer schnell und hilftreich. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

We are a family of 10 who stayed at this cabin and it was extremely comfortable. The layout of the house was nice with plenty of room for gathering in the kitchen and living room (the recliner is so comfortable, I'm going to buy myself one just like it!) as well as comfortable bedrooms. Cooking in the kitchen was no problem as it was well stocked with everything we needed (pots/pans etc). Location was perfect for being in the countryside, but it was close enough to grocery stores, train station, and the city center of Geilo that there was no problem traveling there and back multiple times (a day trip on the train to Flam is doable and beautiful, I highly recommend it). It was so close to the Ruperandan and easy to access. This is a highlight of the property! Ski in/out from your front door in the winter time! Terje was an excellent host and always communicated thoroughly and in a speedy manner.

The accommodation was amazing set in a spectacular location. perfect for the 6 of us and close to Geilo and othe amenities. this was a fantastic base for our Norseman preparations and highly recommend it.

Ein wunderbarer Ort um ein erstaunliches Bergpanorama zu genießen. Das Ferienhaus ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Besonders haben wir die Terasse geliebt mit Aussicht und geschützt vor Wind. Die absolute ruhige Lage haben wir als ,,Stadtkinder" sehr wohltuend empfunden, trotzdem ist man in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto in Geilo, wo man genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Gastronomie und Unterhaltung findet. Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit hier verbracht und uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Super hyggelig bolig i smukke omgivelser med fantastisk udsigt. Vi blev mødt af friske blomster på bordet og hytten var opvarmet ved ankomst. Vi har haft en god skiferie over nytåret, der er hytten helt perfekt. Der blev ryddet sne hver dag op til huset. Utrolig hyggelig hytte med masser af plads til 2 familier.

Loved our stay at Thore's cabin. The setting was beautiful and the photos didn't do it justice, it was even nicer in real life! The beds were comfy and the cabin had everything you need for a family. The steps upto the mountain behind were very accessible and a great addition to help us explore the surroundings. A very short drive into Geilo and not far from Langedrag Nature Park which we visited with our children. Be aware the internal stairs are steep so you just need to be sensible when going up and down with children or older guests. I would highly recommend this gorgeous cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in a beautiful setting, also great value for the price.
