Soludden Eckerö

Cozy little cottage with open floor plan, mini kitchen, gas stove, microwave and refrigerator. Two bar stools with the possibility to eat breakfast inside. A small sleeping alcove with a double bed and a separate sauna. There are two terraces, the one in the west has a dining table for 6 people with an incredible view of the open sea and the horizon. There is also an outdoor sink on the east side terrace as well as a gas grill. A dry toilet directly outside the sauna as well as a separate newly-built shower and laundry room as well as a frozen toilet a short distance away.

Beach with kayak

Stay close to the sea in a small and simple accommodation with its own sauna and beach. There is a kitchenette, outdoor toilet behind the outhouse, a bathroom with sink and shower. The bedroom has a bunk bed, sofa bed for two is in the room. Kayak is available as well as outdoor furniture and charcoal grill. (Coal and lighter fluid are not included) Electricity and municipal water. The sauna is wood-fired. The accommodation is located next to the hiking trail around Kungsö battery with the nice observation tower and cozy picnic spots. Mariehamn is close, about 10 km.

Nice guest house with lovely porch

Take a break and unwind in our guest house located in Kungsö, about 10 km outside Mariehamn. The guest house contains a built-in bunk bed with 2 comfortable beds, a small kitchenette with a stove and a small refrigerator. Seating for 2 people. Shower is on the balcony outside the guest house but also inside the guest house as well as an outdoor toilet around the corner. The guest house is connected to the residential house and shares the balcony. Here we live, 2 adults, a curious little boy and two small dogs that run loose on the property.

Välkommen till ett modernt, mysigt och fullt utrustat året-runt-boende (114 m²) med ostört läge. Här bor du med utsikt över fält och skog, vedeldad bastu på gården och badbrygga inom gångavstånd – allt för dig som vill koppla av och njuta av Åland. Boendet ligger 5 km från Eckerölinjens färja och 1 km från Eckerö Golf. Med busshållplats en kort promenad bort tar du dig hit även utan bil. Den stora trädgården inbjuder till lek och avkoppling, med gott om plats för både vila och umgänge.

Less than 5 minute walking distance from the citycenter and 10 min from harbour. Equipped with dishwasher, dryer, washing machine and free Wifi. 65” TV with surround system to enjoy a movie night. Both bedrooms have 160cm beds with quality mattresses and bedding. One outdoor parking space and private entrance. Patio is set up only during summer months (May-August)

Log cabin with beautiful views of Färjsundet

Our cozy log cabin is located on the beach with beautiful views of Färjsundet. The cottage is fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom, fireplace and air heat pump. There is one double bedroom, one loft with two single mattresses and one sofa bed. The dock is down by the beach, which is suitable for swimming and has a boat dock. Fishing permit can be bought in Godby. The cottage is only 2 km from Godby center, about 16 km from Mariehamn and 9 km from the golf course.

Boathouse cottage including kayaks, boat and bikes

The cottage is located on/right by the sea, still only 6km from the city center. On the 2nd floor you find the bedroom, kitchen/living room and a big balcony. On the 1st floor we have a bathroom, shower and a comfortable sauna with an extraordinary sea view. During the winter the cottage is closed when it’s very cold. Please note that from Oktober to March the rowing boat and kayaks we will not be available for you to use.

Mattas in Finby

At our farmhouse Mattas in Finby, Sund, we can offer a rural and cozy accommodation with 4 beds (two single beds and a sofa bed). It is an apartment on the second floor from the 50s that we have carefully renovated to keep the old-fashioned feel. On the farm there are many different animals (cows, horses, chickens and sheep) and our farm dairy (Mattas Gårdsmejeri). During July, we open a café during the day (11am-5pm).

Käringsund, that is one of the Ålands most beautiful, family friendly beaches with restaurant and other activities, is located within 20 min walking distance, and Centrumbar and ECC, the very local lunch places are located just behind the corner
