The Cármenes were Moorish houses exclusive to the Albaicín (Granada), which were later rehabilitated by Christians. Enclosed by high walls, which keep inside gardens, fountains and a pool that act as a prelude to the house's rooms. The space enjoys privacy and silence, broken by the murmur of the water.
