Cabin holiday rentals in Ålesund Municipality

Incredibly special home on the water. We were traveling with friends and we all agreed that it was the most wonderful Airbnb we have ever been at, and we have travelled extensively. Perfect tidy home beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and furniture, fully stocked kitchen, espresso maker. We did have an issue with the stove that Robert offered to come fix during our stay but otherwise perfect. Very remote so no restaurant nearby but grocery store about 8 minute drive. We recommend this home highly!!!

After a long trip we were kindly welcomed with a burning fire and candles. Outside it was rainy. Very attractively furnished house with more than enough space for us and the children. The jacuzzi was a lovely end to every day. Unfortunately we had to go home earlier due to family circumstances Definitely worth repeating.

We had a great time at Karl Helge's house. It's better than the description and the pictures. There are 3 full bedrooms, a bathroom, a large modern kitchen and a great living room with a new couch and good TV. But the outdoor area is even better. You can spread out on 3 terraces, use the great hot tub overlooking the fjord or fish from the jetty. You are completely undisturbed and in the middle of nature. Karl Helge is very nice and helpful and showed and explained everything in the house. The only small criticism is the way down to the house by car. Although going down is no problem. Going up can be a bit difficult without four-wheel drive and in slippery conditions. Karl Helge's tip to drive the most difficult part backwards with front-wheel drive was worth its weight in gold and not that difficult. We would love to spend a few more days at this great place at some point!

We had an amazing stay at Lindas’s and Vidar’s place! They were outstanding hosts, always quick to respond. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Place had an amazing view in the sea :) Clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and clean place to stay! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Our stay was amazing, the place is beautiful and easy to get to Alesund and surrounding hikes. Great open space for groups. Weather wasn't the best so we didn't utilise outdoors space as much as we would have liked, but it was all very beautiful.

We were very happy with the cleaning of the cabin when we checked in. Easy check in. Very beautiful surroundings and view. Vidar responded quickly to messages. We would be happy to come back if we are in Brattvåg again🌼

We loved our time at Peder’s and Bjorg’s cabin. It’s apparent that this cabin was build with a lot of love, every corner beautifully put together (we particularly enjoyed the oars used as stair banisters :) ) it feels incredibly cosy and the views are breathtaking! We really wanted to go fishing during our trip and Peder has kindly agreed to rent out his boat and take us out for a few hours around the cabin. He shared his tips and advice with us and we had a fantastic time, managing to catch 3 fish 🐟 Peder and Bjorg also offered to prepare a selection of traditional Norwegian bites after the fishing trip. Bjorg prepared a whole platter of “tapas” for us, with prawn cocktail, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, local salads, meats and a delicious cake to finish with. It was incredible and very lovingly put together. It was an amazing stay! Thank you Peder and Bjorg for your warm welcome, we hope to come back soon!

Great house for relaxing! We enjoyed the house itself, the surroundings and the tranquility. One evening we even had a visit from deer. The house is very nice and well maintained. We particularly liked the small oven in the kitchen. Nathalie is a great host, her parents live in the neighboring house and are very helpful and friendly - thank you for everything, we'll be happy to come back.

Friendly, wonderful and warm ❤️ We had an amazing stay in this beautiful cabin! Everything was thoughtfully prepared, providing all we needed and more. We loved waking up to the sunrise over the mountains, doing yoga in the sunshine on the deck ☀️, walking the woodland path filled with chanterelles 🍄, and swimming in the turquoise fjord 🌊. Drying off on the sun-warmed shore and enjoying a camp shower on the deck was bliss. We cooked on the fire bowl, watched the sunset, painted the view, and saw the royal ship pass and an eagle soar 🦅. Birgitta went above and beyond, leaving local beer, juice, ham, and herbs from her garden. Gorgeous cabin and interior design, gorgeous view. It was magical here, offering peace and restoration ❤️ The bedding was the best we've ever had! Only an hour from Ålesund and 15 minutes from shops and restaurants, though we stayed around the cabin the entire time. Thank you, Birgitta, you went above and beyond 🫶🏻 thank you for such a wonderful holiday!

The cabin is idyllically located and super cozy with everything a small family with children needs and much more. Jorunn was very nice to communicate with and very accommodating. We have enjoyed every moment - highly recommended!

Beautiful, quiet place by the sea. Nice fishing spot. We are not professionals in fishing, but we managed to catch quite a lot of fish and had a lot of fun. The bonus was the boat and the kayaks. Separately, I want to note the host of this house, who responds promptly to messages, is always ready to help in case of any questions and is very friendly. We will be back next year.

The time spent in Trine's cottage was very nice to our family. thanks to the excellent supply of the kitchen, we were able to enjoy a warm cake and beautiful views outside the window. we recommend to everyone!
