It's in the Hiawatha National Forest Less then 15 minutes from town and there's countless Lakes, Snowmobile and ATV trails, and recreational activities nearby. Masters Retreat near Pictured Rocks. Open year-round. Low-profile vehicles not advised, Wi-fi, pet-friendly. Max occupancy is 6 -The septic system cannot handle additional guests. This is a ranch-style cottage. Each bedroom has a queen size bed with a ceiling fan. Full view of the lake from the whole living room area. Winter sports are plentiful here! Great spot for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, ice climbing or just watching the snow fall on the lake from the comfort of your living room.

Our cottage is across the street from the South shore of Munising Bay, next door to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore with Lake Superior kayaking, biking, hiking, ORV and snowmobile trails, and multiple waterfalls nearby. For hikers, the North Country Trail passes by the font door. A public fishing pier is across the street at the mouth of the Anna River. Close to restaurants, the beach, and fishing. Great base camp for Ice fishing on Lake Superior right across the street. Sorry no pets!

Au Train Lake Guest House

It is a short drive to the Beach on Lake Superior and the AuTrain River. An original log cabin inside, this property is on the bay in Grand Marais, Michigan. The Bay Cabin is a small 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin. It has a beach in the backyard, fronting onto the bay in Grand Marais. A few yards short of the beach is the firepit. The Bay Cabin also has a large deck for relaxing or dining while taking advantage of the great views.

A "little condo in the pines" with a view of Lake Superior which is a short walk across the street. The AuTrain River empties into Lake Superior across the street, so the sand beach is beautiful & river water warm. Cottage is neat, clean, & cozy with all appliances a comfortable home would have along with privacy! I feel this is a very important feature as our guests have the whole yard to themselves.
