Welcome to your home away from home that we lovingly call the Moon Barn. We are situated in between South Haven and Saugatuck just a mile away from a hiking trail with public access to a Lake Michigan beach. Our home was built in remembrance of a family barn that sat on this location generations ago. It has natural barn wood and art works integrated throughout the house. Downstairs has a complete kitchen, dining area, spacious living room with a gas fire place, full bathroom, and a piano!

2 private bedrooms, 2 loft spaces, sleeps 8. Surrounded by conservation and wildlife. It is a rustic and eclectic, recently refinished 70’s cabin. It is surrounded by woods and trails and easily accessed by road. Bittersweet ski lodge is literally in the back yard. Less than a 1/4 mile to entrance. Kalamazoo River is across the street with a kayak/canoe launch just a 1/4 mile away. We have kayaks available to rent at a minimal cost and can provide drop off and pick up. There is a fire pit that can be used. There are 8 campsites on the property, 5 with 30 amp service and 3 with 20 amp that are available at additional costs. The Lynx golf course is about 5 miles away.

Applewood Lodge is large enough for 8 but also perfect for a romantic getaway for 2. It is nestled in nature but also close to everything the area has to offer. The location is both out of the way and in the center of it all. Located near Saugatuck, Douglas, South Haven & Holland - close to beaches, wineries, orchards, art galleries, shopping, fine dining, spas and an array of outdoor activities, like hiking, boating and horseback riding.

Located equidistant from downtown South Haven and Saugatuck, offering families a wealth of local attractions to explore. Nestled on over an acre of secluded property, this cabin is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy all that Southwest Michigan has to offer.

Our cozy 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath luxury rustic cabin features all the comforts of home and more. Fully furnished for your comfort with towels, linens and other necessities. This cabin sleeps 8 comfortably. A heated pool and lake access are available from Memorial Day to mid September. Full-size washer & dryer in the cabin for your convenience. For larger groups, ask about availability to also rent one of our affiliated cabins nearby.
