Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Alleghany County

We stayed at this cozy cabin and absolutely loved it. It was the perfect peaceful escape — tucked away from the crowds, surrounded by nature, and incredibly quiet. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, just what we needed to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy some serenity.

It was a great cabin situated on top of the hill. It has everything you need to live and feel at home. My daughter loved the record player and the collection. It has a printer and internet was good. The view from the porch is beautiful. The only issue is that it was hard to find the property. The cabin is not on the midland trail road, but on a unpaved gravel road which is parallel to the midland trail. Apparently, it was the old midland trail road before the new one was laid. The property is on top of the unpaved road and it has two columns identifying the property. Once we pull into the driveway between the columns, it goes all the way in and then you will find the house.

This was a very peaceful and cute stay! My significant other, pup, and I spent the weekend and loved the outdoorsy feel. The air bnb location was a perfect quaint, and quiet area right on the river with trails and waterfall nearby. My favorite part was hearing the river right outside the whole time. The fire pit and games were a plus as well. Would recommend!

Pam and Gary are wonderful hosts.. they have a cute little cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. we were able to go to the Omni homestead natural springs and other activities in the area.

My family and I were very pleased with our stay here for Christmas! It was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-stocked. We did not encounter any problems during our stay. I would absolutely recommend it for another family, especially during the Holidays.

Historical property, with lavish updates. Such a beautiful setting, and a short drive to many wonderful attractions. The property was spotless and felt just like home! They even left fresh fruit and snacks, as well as milk and eggs and bread! They did more to welcome us and make us feel at home than any other Airbnb I've ever stayed at!

I highly recommend this place! It was easy to get to, clean, and located near the state and national parks we were fly fishing in. It’s obvious that a lot of love and effort has been put into to the house. Hosts were awesome to work with!

The inside is completely remodeled; even the walls and vents are brand new. It is was very clean and comfortable. My daughter and I were munching on honey nut cheerios by the creek, and I heard something in the water. Two river otters were catching fish and eating their breakfast yards away from us. We quietly followed them 97 yards down stream and their den was on the opposite side of the creek. We saw two baby otters playing and it was an amazing experience. It is very rare to see river otters in their natural habitat. They will likely remain there throughout the summer, and we will probably go back to see them. Roaring Run Falls is 12 minutes away and it is spectacular! We finished the day by catching the sunset up on the Blue Ridge Parkway... it would be impossible to plan such a perfect day. If this property is available, reserve it immediately.

We only stayed at Pat’s place one night but we were very happy with it. Clean, comfortable, and as described in the listing. Pat was very communicative and check in was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

love the vibe of the place, from the nostalgia of the living quarters to the 50's themed soda shop. if you love to bake or like old fashion milkshakes, you can make them here. They have all the things to enjoy. Deer in the yard in the morning.

Excellent stay. Very clean, very private location. Beware of the very narrow one lane bridge to get there but very easily accessible. GPS took me right to the door. Limited cell service but WiFi was excellent. Would definitely recommend staying again

Enjoyed the weekend, place was clean and neighborhood was quiet, would definitely stay here again, Pat responded quickly to all messages, minutes away from the Greenbrier Resort

We stayed here to bike the beautiful Jackson River Scenic Trail. The location was perfect as the bike trail is right in front of the inn. The inn itself is nicely updated and very comfortable. We will stay here again when we want to return.
