Stag Cottage

Hayeswood Farm is set in the rolling hills of south Derbyshire. Our family moved here in 2024 and have a strong focus on sustainability, regenerating the land and creating a haven for wildlife. The farm is home to chickens, ducks, geese, horses and our three whippets and is a great place to see wildlife such as songbirds, hare, partridge, and fallow deer. With public footpaths on our doorstep and plenty of pubs and farm shops near by, Stag Cottage is the perfect location for a weekend getaway.

Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.

Located in a peaceful rural area, 6 miles north of Derby or 12 miles to the west of Nottingham, the property is ideal for two people however it can accommodate up to four sleeping. Large enough to accommodate a motor home or caravan should this option be required.
