Holiday rentals with lake access in Allier

Frédéric is a wonderful host. He is very quick to respond to online enquiries and will do what he can to help. Having stayed once before, we already knew about the farm market and Frédéric was very happy to help us get the artisan bread, butter and cheese before we arrived. The property was spotless again and felt like a home-from-home. He already had the hot tub up to temperature and ready to use, and the woodburner lit. For those new to the place, he has made everything easy to use, with numbering on appliances. The kitchen is awesome and the house is well appointed. The location offers blissful tranquility in a beautiful rural setting, while vibrant towns like Vichy and Clermont-Ferrand are in striking distance. My wife benefited from reïki treatments on both visits, and felt recharged as a result. We highly recommend Gite du Mont Plaisir to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Marie's house is beautiful and very welcoming. We immediately felt at home and were able to enjoy the calm. Everything is perfectly equipped and Marie was very available to welcome us and advise us. We particularly enjoyed the garden and the toys available for the kids. We were able to make many visits and take full advantage of the area. We will come back to this house without hesitation!

Atypical house and nicely decorated exterior. Malica is a charming host. She served us a mojito with cherry tomatoes from her garden. The only downside would be the bedding a little too soft and the pillows, on the other hand, very hard.

We enjoyed Jacqueline's ideal accommodation with 3 bedrooms on the ground floor as well as the playroom for children. The kitchen is very well equipped. The garden and terrace are pleasant, we were able to enjoy them in the middle of November.

Everything went well. Downtown is a stone's throw away and perfect for a stroll by the river. Nice decor. Very good communication. We were in Vichy for a Touch rugby tournament at the sports center - walkable but only a 10-minute drive. Thank you and see you next time:-)

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy apartment! Tucked away enough for a peaceful night's sleep, but still close to town. Everything in Vichy was walking distance from the apartment, which made exploring super easy and fun. One of our favorite discoveries was the local bakery just a street away—fresh croissants every morning was such a treat! We absolutely loved our time in Vichy and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a great night at Anne's, who is very welcoming. The accommodation is a peaceful oasis, with a pool to cool off among the chickens and the dog, very nice. Anne offered us a welcome drink on arrival and shared her travel experiences. Excellent breakfast on the courtyard side, entirely homemade. All for a more than affordable rate. We'll be happy to go back.

Andre's place is a little gem. Away from the crowds but within walking distance from the city centre along the riverside. It's got everything you need for a relaxing stay. Communication with Andre was easy and efficient and he was very accommodating with our last minute request.

Emily was a great host and the house is rather fine. As said in some of the comments here however, we could hope for better equipment, especially in terms of bedding and kitchens.

Perfect place for my stay. Hosts were really welcoming and hospitable. Everything was as pictured and as described. They were responsive to my requests and kind throughout. Bed was very comfortable and I slept peacefully.

We were hosted very well by this kind couple very brave to have beautifully renovated this house. Perfect place for us because quiet, in the countryside not overlooked while being 5 minutes from the city center. The house is perfect, nothing is missing (which is rare), everything is designed to have a good time. Bed made on arrival, toilet linen, tea towels, coffee and products for dishes, salt, pepper...NO complaints! Two donkeys nearby that are cute and very discreet. a large terrace that makes you want to lounge on a sunbed on sunny days or have lunch outside. We will definitely come back.
