Dyrekærhuset is located in the most beautiful and peaceful nature. You can walk in Dyrekærskoven with a viewpoint, sit by the creek, watch the wildlife and enjoy the birdsong. If you have children, there are 4 goats (Danish Landrace), swings, a zip line, a trampoline, a play village, a football pitch, a basketball hoop and plenty of opportunities for outdoor play. There is also a hot tub. Dyrekærhuset is suitable for retreating. If you are 2-3 families or an extended family, we also have a log cabin with room for 4-5 and a shelter for 6.

The light rail to Aarhus takes about 35 minutes. 20 km to Horsens (visit the old prison, now a cultural centre and museum) 10 km to Vilhelmsborg 15 km to Skanderborg 15 km to Mosegaard Museum and beach 1 km to Fru Møllers (farm shop) You can also visit LEGOland - Djurs Sommerland - which is only an hour's drive from us.

The house is built as 2 separate houses under one roof. This means that you can easily be together and at the same time retreat if you want privacy. This is ideal if you are 2 families vacationing together. In the small "annex" of 50, there is room for 2 adults and 2 children. Here is the kitchen, bath and toilet. The large house can accommodate 8 adults. Here is a large kitchen, private bathroom/toilet and bathtub. The house has its own bathing bridge, fire pit, sandbox, trampoline and outdoor hot tub.
