It is ideal for cycling, skiing and carrying trips. In addition, the municipality's official bathing area is just one kilometre away with a beach, barbecue and volleyball court.

Here you can also have a better dinner, or buy an ice cream. Nice alpine slope five minutes by car. Horse center nearby with opportunities for riding lessons and sleigh speed.

Cooking is done on a wood stove, gas burner or fire pan. There is many good hiking opportunities from the farmhouse both in the forest and along the road.

The house is located on a farm with sheep and dog, next to the house where we live ourselves. The farm is located about 4 km south of Alvdal city centre and there is a short distance to both hiking areas and fishing opportunities. The house is a restored oyster valley living room from the 1800s, and the kitchen is well equipped (including microwave, kettle, coffee maker, press pot and dishwasher). Cleaning fee of 300 kr covers only the preparation of the rental unit and not the final cleaning.
