“My beau and I were completely enchanted by the location and the beauty of the natural environment at Jessica’s space. Both the setting and rising of the sun and star-gazing here is incredible and an experience unto itself. We stayed here one night and found the space immaculately clean and functional, smartly furnished and uncluttered, and fragrance/chemical-free. It was great to see Dr Bronner’s supplied along with an electric kettle, yoga mats and blankets (essential for sun/moon/star gazing from the privacy of your own porch!), and unexpected small touches that we appreciated like the Himalayan salt lamp, rainbow prism, electric radiator, and blinds that you can adjust to any level to bask in the panorama of the landscape from the kitchen/living room combo space. There’s a lovely friendly kitty who likes to visit and bunnies running around the property. We hope to have a longer stay at this serene sanctuary the next time we visit.”
Relax & retreat to our one bedroom, one bathroom, 5 miles to Rio Costilla Park and 45 miles to Taos. Our mountain cabin is in Northern New Mexico, in the town of Amalia. Our cabin is located on a 3,000 acre private resort that our guests may hike and explore dozens of trails and mountain views throughout their stay. Great for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and pet-friendly.
“Aprils place what just what we needed! It was a perfect home away from home during the pandemic. We loved being able to hike and discover the history of the mountain right outside our doorstep. Dennis was such a gracious host and made our stay very comfortable. This is a perfect place for a couple (with or without kids!) looking for a break from city life to enjoy a peaceful mountain retreat. Make sure to bring plenty of water. We went through about a gallon a day. The kitchen is well stocked and there is an assortment of games and books! Would highly recommend this place!!!! We loved it and will definitely be back soon! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!”
The casita is set next door to our large house, among cottonwood trees, off a quiet, paved road. It is bright and cozy. A nice retreat for couples or an individual seeking solitude. Small front porch with chairs, looks out upon a pond with ducks, in season. No pets, please. No smoking indoors.
“Jana is the most THOUGHTFUL host! She gave us some cute presents to help us celebrate our anniversary. The house was clean and very inviting - a perfect place for two! She had lots of easy to access info about the house, and things to do near by. Jana was quick to communicate and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her house to anyone and look forward to staying again.”
