Lise and Marius are excellent hosts! They are very kind and helpful, and even if we never needed their help since everything at the house was great, we always felt like they were easy to reach and happy to help with anything. The house is very nice with a beautiful view over the fjord, and the hot tub and grill house made the stay feel extra luxurious. We had an amazing stay and we already miss our beautiful house in the north :)

We stayed for 5 nights at the Cabin and it was great! Beautiful views and very peaceful. We saw eagles, seals and moose near the cabin. We also rented the hot tub for an extra charge, which was well worth it, and saw the northern lights above the snowy mountains. Irene was very helpful and friendly with any questions we had. The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. We played some board games and spent nights by the fireplace. Would highly recommend the place to anyone. It’s a bit further from a village or city but we preferred to stay further from busier roads or light pollution. Even for us with an electric rental car it was fine to charge at the nearest town or Andenes whilst doing groceries. We did some beautiful walks on Andøya and driving around on the island is great as well. Would love to come back sometime, maybe in the summer as well.

Very, very nice and new accommodation. Wonderful views of the fjord and the mountains. Very spacious accommodation with the best amenities, even the kitchen! Warm in winter, fireplace for a cozy atmosphere and sauna for relaxation. Any time again, thank you very much!

Jarle and Kirsten have been wonderful hosts, Sharing their private Holiday Home. It s located ca 20 min outside of Sortland with significant distance to the next Hut, ensuring maximal quietness&privacy, in Summer a Lake ia Close by. We found all we could possibly need in the hut. Watching the Northern lights from the Whirlpool (little extra) was a dream. We were feeding the wild birds and sad to leave such a nice place. Internet is quick and reliable. Communication with the hosts was super friendly and quick. Thumbs Up - clear recommendation if you search for a place to recharge your batteries.

Hans is a great guy! Really helpful and nice. We arrived a day early but without a problem he arranged another place for us.

Ann-Christine and her husband were very welcoming. The cabin, warm, is located in a place of great peace. Difficult to describe the beauty of the surrounding landscapes. Magical moment!

We had a very good evening and night at the cabin, the views are stunning, the environment is very peaceful. Stine was always responsive when we had any questions, and we appreciated her attention. We were even able to see 4 moose out the window of the cabin in the evening. One of our best Airbnb experiences in Norway, we highly recommend this place.

What an awesome little place, it has everything you need! A good bed, little kitchen, great shower, it was warm, wifi, close to the beach and easy walk into town.

Cozy and pleasant chalet, in a perfect location to watch the northern lights. Solveig was very responsive and friendly!

Stunning location, remote yet comfortable, warm and easily connected for local shop. Our host was welcoming and went out of their way to help us find amazing places to visit. We didn’t want to leave.

Great little cabin at the edge of one of the most appealing campsite we’ve seen in Norway. Amazing views of the looong sunset !

Beautiful cabin right on the water - totally idyllic - we had a fantastic time and the sauna is also lovely. Even saw the northern lights from the front deck and can swim (although it’s cold in October!) in the lake in front. Not a problem at all for us - but for people who may be disabled please note there is a steep walk down from the road through an uneven trail in the forest. Would advise to bring a head torch to come up/down after sunset. The shower is a pump shower which you put in a bucket of warm water from the tap - we got used to it quickly. Kari is lovely and met us at the road to bring us down to the cabin and took the time to give us great recommendations - thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful cottage with Norwegian flair, interesting combination of tradition and modernity. Beautiful location.

We stayed at Simon's cabin for 2 days to participate in the Waltour and enjoy the separation. Both were great and we enjoyed it very much. The communication with Simon was friendly and always timely and we got helpful support when checking in! That you have to go to the forest to pee and there is no running water was no problem for us and we got along well. Great spot!
