“Lovely quiet spot, with some bits and pieces in the cupboard you can use which is great as no shops around. Kayaks and bikes and fishing gear in the shed able to be used which was really lovely and we all had fun on the kayaks on the water. House is spotless, comfortable and attractive. We also enjoyed the 1000 piece puzzle very pleased we got it done in our time there! Cheryl (who cleans) welcomed us and was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay in an amazing part of the world”

Ansons Bay is a remote holiday village within the Bay of Fires. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Plenty to do, fishing, walking, touring around, playing cricket with the kids, read a book, or sit on the balcony with a wine and watch the stars. It's called paradise. You'll need to bring your provisions as the closest shops and fuel are 40 min to St Helens or 25 min to Gladstone with both roads being gravel. Ansons Bay has its own boat ramp and there is also a boat ramp at Eddystone Point.
“Carol was welcoming and was very generous with special treats left for us to enjoy. She was also able to help with some local knowledge on where to explore. The kitchen was well equipped, beds and pillows comfortable with extra blankets if needed, spacious lounge room with wood heater (books and puzzles) and a good sized deck to sit and relax - for our party of 2 adults and 6 children. We found it to be a good base to explore the area and had stocked up on necessities at St Helens.”
