Sophie’s place was really nice and cozy. I stayed there for a month. Sophie was extremely responsive and accommodative. The place has everything you can need for a longer-term stay and work from home, including the kitchenware and a decent WiFi. Free weekly cleaning was included in price , which was awesome! The place is located a bit further away from the touristy area, which for me personally was a good thing, although it’s still quite walkable, about 20 min (and the beach is pretty much at the same distance). There’s a huge grocery store/shopping center MEGA 7 min away, which was very convenient. I recommend Sophie’s place for someone who’s looking for something more quiet and relaxed, who likes to stay away from crazy tourist areas and prefer to live where local people live. I’d be happy to stay at Sophie’s place again next time I’m in Playa 😊

We loved our stay. All the amenities made the stay so pleasant - I don’t think I can go back to staying at a place without a washer and dryer. It’s a beautiful apartment and we also loved using the gym and pool, hot tub etc. The view from the window and the balcony is stunning. We really needed the sun and the beaches during winter and are now semi depressed back in Boston.

I spent two days here with Berni, he is really helpful. And the accommodation is good, clean, well equipped with everything you needed.

This was a great location. Staff was helpful with check in and getting a pack and play which made the whole trip with an infant doable. The updated apartment was super cute and had everything we needed. The room service was great. Next time we’ll do the spa!

Good place to stay but confusing process between Airbnb and the hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful three bedroom townhome. Close to Breathless and Secrets all inclusive for day passes as well as eateries and the hip strip. The residence was so spacious with one of a kind water views. The place was so clean and Susan the house attendant was lovely and doubled as an amazing Chef. Our hosts were super attentive and quick to respond to my questions and even contacted us about activities that were happening. I will really miss this home and look forward to returning soon. You will not find a gem like this elsewhere.

The listing is exactly as described in the listing, foot in the sand. An excellent place, extremely, impeccable, clean. Nearby pharmacy, market, restaurant. You can do everything on foot. Just a tip, for those who are used to structure like sunscreen, kiosks like Brazil, there works a little differently. Aimee extremante solicitous, responds quickly, very polite. We helped with airport transportation.

Travis was an amazing host with great recommendations for resturants. The facility was secure. The security at the gate were very pleasant but ensured our safety by checking IDs to ensure we were on the list as guest for the property. I would stay here again this is a true gem in the cool hills of Mandeville.

The apartment has excellent spaces, beautiful decoration and is impeccable. It's easy to access and feels comfortable and safe. Maria was attentive from the very first minute and provided us with guidance, attention and advice at all times, making our stopover in Puerto Plata more pleasant.

Fantastic place, well organized and aesthetically pleasing.

The location of this place was perfect, about 2 blocks from the beach and many restaurants. We had a great time. We had an issue with parking, but they were able to resolve it right away, (someone parked on our spot :) ) but no biggie. Place was very clean and had everything we needed for our little vacation. Enjoyed the rooftop.

The building amenities were top-notch—I loved the rooftop pool with panoramic views and the well-equipped gym. Having two full bathrooms was a huge plus. Excellent. Actually, we only wanted to stay one night, but due to the family environment, we decided to stay longer in the short term. Justin and Johny are extremely friendly and helpful, they also showed us the area and the sights. In addition, water, coffee and small snacks are always available free of charge. All in all, I can warmly recommend it to everyone. Thanks again to the two hosts.

This is one of the most well-designed and comfortable hostals to be found throughout Cuba. Great value. The hosts are a very kind and welcoming family. The apartment is private and independent, all amenities are modern and supplied with superior quality. Beautiful design and layout, with a full kitchen including oven, dishes, crockery, and an espresso maker. Location is central, within very short walking distance of various bars, restaurants, parks, and historical sites. Apartment includes a private terrace with a superb view of the city. Highly recommended.

Otto and his wife are great hosts! They were very responsive and make you feel like family. The apartment's living room, dining, kitchen area is cozy, however, the main bedroom is much larger than I expected. They have beach towels and a beach umbrella in the main bedroom that you can use. We put these to great use as we visited a different beach each day we were in cancun. The apartment is a short 4 block walk to the main square when you can catch the bus to the beaches. The bus gets extremely full and it could be difficult to get a seat or even space to stand. An alternate option is to use Uber or Didi for ride share services. There was some construction on the corner as a new restaurant is being built. However, you can only hear the construction in the living room area, not in the main bedroom. This was not an issue for us sleeping in. There is an Oxxo at the end of the block and a Walmart express across the main street. This was very convenient for us.

Great stay at Julio’s place, this place is centric, close to shopping places and public transportation, quiet, great to rest.

We rested as if we were at home, and it's very reliable. The best thing for me is the very safe parking, so I had my pickup truck

We spent some beautiful days in Bayahíbe and everything thanks to the kindness of Aristide and Tania since we were picked up at the airport to the instructions to be able to get to Santo Domingo was great , the apartment is very clean , excellent for rest , fresh and the excellent bed, until they bought a miicroondas so that the stay was better , when the host is reliable and friendly the holidays are more enjoyed, the area is very quiet Bayahíbe is small but has a lot of magic , the tropical caribe is highly recommended
